Great new bra from Kohls

I found a great fitting, supporting bra from Kohls yesterday. I'm busty {36 D} and need support. Bras are always problematic. I usually have sacrifice one for the other.

It's called "This NOT a Bra" from Warners. I bought a beautiful soft pink and a nude. Great coverage and support. They also had a "Buy One get the 2nd for 1/2. Original price is $38.

Worth a trip!

That sounds great, but it is underwire. I can't wear one of those in my size due to the underwire setting the metal detector off. In a 44D the wires are substantial! I do like the Rhonda Shear Pin Up Girl Bras for great wireless support. Kohls' website has great prices starting around $7 and up for certain colors. For that price, I would have tried it but it only goes to a 40D. For those than can try it, go jump on the online clearance plus Kohls weekend sale for those card holders!

I used to wear Warners before DS was born. Loved them! I'm too busty now, so I've found Olga Bras to be my best fit.

If you can spend and are busty, I found that the English and French brands give much more support. I was wearing a 40 DD, when I was properly fitted at Nordie's and found my actual size was 36G. I was able to find bras there that let me wear things I never thought I could like tank tops. I got a reduction, but I still wear the brands I found like Fantasie of England. BareNecessities.com has sales all the time and I just order what I want from Nordie's at better prices. They go all the way up to N cups. It really is worth paying for the support. My back thanked me.

I love Fantasie! I have yet to find a Bali or anything as good as Fantasie for me....36e. Nordies fitting are the best. I will check Kohl's though,always on the lookout.

Thanks, margo. Always on the hunt for comfort in this area. About a month or so ago someone else posted about another brand and type of bra that they bought from Kohl's. I now forget the name and brand (of course), but your thread is making me realize I need to revisit that one. I think I even put a few of those bras in my cart at Kohl's.com. But I completely forgot about it until now.

I cannot wear underwires either - they hurt my ribs so I make a tiny slit at the end of the wire and pull it out! Works fine.

The reviews say that there is padding. Is it a light padding or is it heavy?

I wear the Olga, as well. I buy them at Kohl's when they're "buy one, half off second one" and absolutely love them. Even though they're underwire, they don't poke an d dig like some. And, they wear like iron. I do wash my bras in the delicate cycle and hang them to dry and they look and feel beautiful for a long time.

Margo: THANK YOU! I just received the bras today. Oh...my...goodness... I squealed with delight when I tried them on. They are so comfortable and shape me nicely. I ordered three from the clearance "just in case" but I am going back right now to order some in white and beige. On a side note, the clearance ones were pink and blue. ;-) Thank you again!!
