Took blush to the store today with me. Good thing........

I had no idea what I thought the color of my blush was, had more pink in it than I thought!!! The lights in my bathroom and the store, are two different animals. If I'd have picked up what I thought was the color, to match what I have here that I like, I'd have been so disappointed and upset. I found one, I hope I like it. It has a few shades in one and I think I will.

Question is, have you ever had that happen to you when you've tried to match colors that way? What a surprise.

Wonder if clothes are the same way...lights different, I'll bet so.

Yes, I've had that happen too many times and online it's terrible!

Yes, especially when the blush is inside clear plastic you can't really see the color until you open it up.

I think the department store lighting in the cosmetic departments is horrible, and in the drug stores, impossible!

I've taken to taking it to a window or, if they allow me, to take it outside so I can see how it looks in the daylight.

I have found that even if two colors LOOK the same........they can end up very different when applied to your face.
