Conductive Gel for Microcurrent Machines

Can you use just organic aloe vera gel instead of their conductive gel -and spray water on your face to keep the gel moist for conduction?

When you are finished you could either wipe off the gel or rub it into your skin since aloe vera gel is good for your skin.

Yes, yes, and yes!!! And check Walmart for great buys on pure Aloe Gel. I found it by accident picking up some groceries at one of those neighborhood grocery stores and it was under $5.00 for either 12 or 16 ounces (am too lazy to get up and look - sorry.). It's what I use for any gadget requiring conductive gels. I also use a spray water bottle to keep my skin moist after using the Aloe gel.

They charge absurd amounts for those conductive gels on all the TV retailers so it's nice to find an inexpensive alternative that is actually better for the skin.

I was thinking of using pure organic aloe vera gel and then just misting the aloe vera gel to aid in the conduction. I had the old Connie Stevens Time machine back in the day I was in my 30's then - misplaced it and now in my mid 50's want to pick it back up.

Glad to read this thread this morning. I've been using the SSC machine for about 4 weeks now (daily) and LOVE LOVE LOVE it, I already see the difference I wanted to see along my jawline, I'm so pleased with it, but wondered about what to use when the supply of gel that came with it ran out.

That's what I do too - I apply the Aloe gel liberally then use a spray bottle of water to reactivate it on the areas where it has become a little less wet. It has performed well for me and the machine I use it with actually recommends using the water spray once you have used the gel.

Yes! As others mentioned, Aloe Vera gel from Walmart. I have a small bowl that I use to mix the gel and some water. I make it thin enough to create a nice slip.

Have you ever had an aloe plant and pricked one of their leaves? It is a clear on the thicker side fluid that is wonderful for all kinds of skin issues from burns and cuts to more serious issues. Aloe gel is clear and you can tell when buying by reading the ingredient list.
