I plan to use it, family, on the new micro-blur product. Wayne Goss gave it a very strong review a few days ago.

It seems to be inconsistent here when they delete info about sales at other retailers. They do it on some yet ignore others that stay up for the duration. I always try to code mine in some way so that they may not be as noticeable - like writing out the percentage (thirty percent off) and even spelling out the store with *'s in between some letters (K*O*H etc,) Doesn't always work but has at times.

It must have something to do with the different webbies that monitor the site over the course of the day because some get deleted almost as quick as they are posted while others remain up for everyone to see.

They use to be really bad about anyone posting other websites (deleted them promptly) so many starting writing it out as in dot com and that eliminated a lot of deletes.

Exactly, kachina624!

It seems logical that QVC doesn't pay for a community forum to provide free advertising for other businesses.

The Standards do say:

"Use of these public areas for commercial purposes is prohibited. Do not use any Community features (including, but not limited to, video, forums, reviews, images, and profiles) to solicit funds, advertise, or solicit goods or services, or post third-party promotional material. Only use these public areas and Community features for non-commercial purposes."

However, I'll never understand why they remove some threads promoting other sites and leave others to flourish.

I think it's similar to a primer, without that silicone, oily-feeling slip (even though it does list 'cones in the deck). It may be like Carmindy's primer, available on HSN, that I've had for ab't 3 weeks. I like it. Seems to control my shiny warm-weather oil break-through longer than other products. But, like so many of us, I'm always looking for a better solution.

I agree that it's inconsistent and that's confusing. Still, it seems pretty obvious that if you post about a competitor having a sale, there's a probability that it will get deleted and I wouldn't be mad about it or even ask about it.

No way to know - then again, within the last half hour I wrote a reply about the Kennedy letters. I can see it when I click into my activity, but I can't see it posted onto the thread itself. That's some weird kind of malfunction and if today is like others days, if I return here later in the day, all of a sudden I'll see my Kennedy post right where it should be now.

Darn! Wish I had that code. Some get deleted, some don't. I think if it's blatant in the header that's where you get into trouble.

It's obvious, isn't it? QVC doesn't want us using the QVC board to direct shoppers to other companies. They catch some, some slip through and it's possible that some board members alert QVC by reporting it as inappropriate.
