I honestly thought all invites would have gone out. That's why I had asked in Bebe777 original thread. However, I received mine this morning and I was wondering if anyone else did as well.

I got mine this morning, but had to decline. I completely forgot about a family thing and would have been strung up if I wasn't there. Still considered going tho. I hope they realize what I gave up!!! (they don't)

WOW! Out of all the WEN posters, only two sent in pictures with one declining? I guess I'll be the only one there. Maybe Chaz will give me all the gift bags so I better bring my truck. LOL!

Does the invitation include airfare and a hotel? I don't live anywhere near LA, so that would be a very expensive invitation. I'm already dealing with another expensive invitation to a wedding I'm in and can't afford another that requires out of state travel. (At least Chaz wouldn't make me buy a dress I'll never wear again.)

I think most people aren't within driving distance of LA, which would explain why so few people applied on short notice.

Precisely this. Heck, if I'm going to the expense and making the trip to LA, to meet Chaz, I'm going to save up long enough to make an appointment with him to do my hair, too!

This was a Gunthy Renker organized event. The Meet and Greet was a bit different than what was advertised (or what I thought would happen) other than it was to set up and put together the new Wen4 Infomercial. The communications were done by GR which is headquartered in Santa Monica.

Here was the invite that you received once you sent in your photo. I have no idea how many people received the invite. I'll delete the location of the hotel and the email address. There was no actual address of the location of the Hotel sent in the email but rather cross streets.

Some of what was mentioned did not happen which I can address later but here's the email I received in case you are curious.

Hi WEN Fan,

Thank you for submitting your photos in anticipation of our May 10th meet and greet with Chaz Dean.

We would love to see you at our Meet & Greet with Chaz Dean - the event will be on May 10th- call time is at 9am at XXXXXXXXXXXX Hotel at XXXX and XXXX. Please be prompt.

You will have the chance to meet Chaz Dean and Candice Accola, star of Vampire Diaries, and advocate Wen user, and walk away with the new WEN kit before it is available to the rest of the public. We’re excited to share that the meet and greet is going to be filmed for the upcoming WEN commercial.

PLUS Chaz will be selecting guests at the event to receive a WEN makeover - that very day!

We will need your “yes” or “no” response to the RSVP by May 7, 2014.

Space is limited and meet and greets/gift bag quantities are available on a first come, first serve basis.

DRESS CODE:

When thinking about what to wear to the meet and greet, take inspiration from what you’d wear to Sunday brunch with your girlfriends. The meet and greet will be filmed (video and camera) so show up looking your best and feeling confident!

No costumes are allowed. Please refrain from wearing anything that shows too much skin. There is to be no national advertising or logo displayed on any garments or hats. We suggest that you bring a jacket or sweater. Because everyone will be on camera at some point throughout the entire taping, it is important to adhere to these guidelines. Please be aware that the producer has the right to deny entrance to anyone dressed inappropriately in the Show’s sole discretion. Please do not dress in white colored clothing. Please do not bring spare clothing or changes of clothing. One small/medium purse is all that will be allowed. There is NO storage for personal items.

No Guarantee of Admission: An RSVP confirmation to the Meet & Greet with Chaz Dean does not guarantee admission to the taping area or mean you have been selected to appear in the WEN show or receive a service from the WEN styling team. The production team also reserves the right to deny entry to any guest who does not adhere to the set rules or is considered dressed inappropriately.

Tape Dates Subject to Change: Taping dates are subject to change. Please note that Guthy-Renker, Chaz Dean Studio and Caudill & Associates, Inc. have the right to cancel or reschedule tapings at any time and for any reason and are not responsible for expenses incurred by guests.

Age Limit: No one under the age of 18 will be admitted. Audience members will be required to present a form of photo identification with proof of age. The only acceptable forms of photo identification are passport, driver’s license, state ID and military ID.

Parking Information: Self parking is available at the XXXXXXXX & XXXXXXXX complex. Park in the structure, follow the signs to the escalator, take the escalator to the XXXXXth floor and follow further signage or staff posted to direct you to the side entrance of the XXXXXXXX pool. Bring your parking ticket with you and we will provide validation.

Policies: All bags and purses are subject to screening and search. Please limit all bags and purses and their contents because space in the Studio is limited. Please note that you are not permitted to bring any audio or video recording devices (including cameras), sharp objects, mace/pepper spray, backpacks, or ice chests into the Studio. In addition, cell phones are not permitted in the Studio (public spaces not included). Weapons are strictly prohibited, including inside parked cars. All objects are subject to removal at the Production team’s discretion.

was it fun though or hectic? Did you get that WEN kit they mentioned? If so, what was in it? It said you'd get it before it was released to the public so it sounded like new stuff?

The gift bag included Gunthy Renker's version of 16 oz. SAM CC, pump, 2 oz SAM remoist, 2 fl oz SAM anti frizz styling crème in a tube and 1.8 (?) fl oz. SAM mousse. I don't know the complete product line at Gunthy Renker so I don't know if these items have not been released. I'm not a GR member.
