In Panic mode!!!!! My Palovia stopped working!

Searched high and low to purchase another one, but looks like the company went out of business?

I've used it faithfully for about 14 months with no problems. Then last week I went to use it and I kept getting that interrupted buzzing sound at each attempt.

If anyone knows how to remedy this or knows where to purchase one (besides ebay), please let me know.

I bought it at Skinstore with a 20% discount for $400, but would easily pay the usual asking price of $500.

Palomar discontinued the PaloVia several months ago. Their CS may be able to help you.

ETA: - It appears they lost a component supplier, so your only option is probably ebay. According to their 10-Q filed in May 2013...

In October of 2012, one such single supplier filed for bankruptcy. We believe the remaining inventory level we have of the component provided by this supplier is sufficient to accommodate our manufacturing the PaloVia laser into late 2013. In the future, if we are able to partner with a consumer-based distributor, we will need to find another supplier or re-design the PaloVia laser such that the component is no longer necessary. Once we run out of inventory of this single source supplier component, we may not be able to continue to manufacture the PaloVia laser. If we are unable to keep up with demand for the PaloVia laser and consumable PaloVia Gel, our revenue could be impaired, market acceptance for the PaloVia laser and consumable PaloVia Gel could be adversely affected and our customers might instead purchase competitors' products.

I have the same problem I think we should start a class action suit to get the money back or repair!!!!!

I'd try contacting them first as they might be able to fix your unit if it doesn't require that particular component that they can no longer get. It's a shame for any company to be so dependent on a specific supplier. It very possibly will hurt PaloVia's reputation yet they did nothing wrong other than depend on a supplier for an important component of their current laser.

The PaloVia has a 1yr limited warranty. You can read the warranty @ the link below...

well were out of luck the company is out of business now the gel is 150.00 on ebay and I don't see anyone else selling it

I email them last week about mine quiting about half way through. Then I plug it in for about 10 seconds and can finish the session. I got no reply. Today I called and just got a message if I want to buy gel they'd get back to me. I never use the gel I just slightly wet the area and it works fine. That is till it broke. Imagine the battery is done for.

We all need to realize most of the machines we buy won't last forever. I wish I had the money for all I've bought. I've had them all. If they don't quit on their own I get bored with them. I'm using the tria now. Hope it last for awhile.

It's strange all of our machines quit about the same time.
