You could be developing eczema. I have had it on my lips before. Watch the next few days if it looks dry, scaly or flaky. If so, you'll need to go to the derm.

Hi Ladies, for the past few days I have had a slight burning on my lips. Has anyone experienced a tingling or burning? Searching the internet makes you nervous, they say it can be vitamin deficiency, diabetes, lip product or just a symptom of menopause to name a few. Otherwise, I feel great. Never had this before, also can be a food allergy. If it doesn't' feel better in a few days I will call my doctor, thanks in advance.

Searching the internet always makes me nervous! I could potentially have conditions I've never even heard of!

Except for the diabetes, the other possibilities you cite are pretty easily addressed. Except menopause. Have you had any other symptoms of diabetes? A trip to the doctor might be good just to put your mind at ease -- good luck. Let us know!

I can't use them.

Also the food allergies. Are you eating a lot of fresh fruit, like strawberries, or citrus fruits?

I'm allergic to bananas and if I eat them my mouth and lips it-ch and burn.
