The pads are greasy and remain on your eyelashes. I would not recommend this product if you have sensitive eyes.

She recommended Almay OIL FREE remover pads. Almay makes two versions - one is called "moisturizing" and it is rather oily, but great for removing waterproof mascara. The other is "oil free" and as the name suggests, it is not oily.

About 1 1/2 years ago, I purchased Philosophy Purity (it was a 3 peace set - TSV with HIAJ and Micro Delivery) and I found that it works extremely well for your entire face including eye make up and mascara. My eyes are very sensitive and almost always have issues with most eye make up remover. When I use this, I have no problem whatsoever. I also have sensitive skin. All the make up removers with oils in them are very irritating to my eyes, so I would not recommend them. Purity is a cool lotion not greasy nor is the ponds cold cream type which is also irritating to my eyes and skin. Purity is your safest bet and I've been around a long time and tried numerous products at all prices of the spectrum. Hope this helps.

Never have I used a separate cleanser for the eyes. I have used a cruelty free brand similar to J&J baby shampoo to cleanse my eyes as a medical issue recommended by my opthamologist. I do that once in a while.

I use Tatcha, the newish JM cleanser in a jar with the double sided cloth and Eve Lom with the muslin cloth. No separate eye cleanser is necessary.

I have used purity mostly for many years. But, it does not remove every mascara brand I use.

I have found that almost every other emu remover irritates my eyes. (tried most of the drug store brands) I don't care for most of the oil mix removers. I can feel residue left on my eyes and I don't care for the delivery system. (I know, I have a few quirks!) I have found 2 that don't leave me red, burning and irritated.

Simple eye makeup remover pads-I like having wipes at my vanity. They allow me to do spot clean ups when neccessary and I travel with them.

Kate Sommerville tru lash eye enhancing remover-this is a creamy lotion that rubs on, washes or wipes off. I use this at the sink for hard mascara days. I have had my tube for 1 1/2 years. I was at my wits end for finding a product that I could use, so I bit the bullet and splurged. I would love to find a dupe for this, as it is pricey. But, if I don't find one, I will re-buy this since I know it works for me.
