I love the smell of POM as a matter of fact today my replenishing mists duos arrived and I bought my daughter a POM. I haven't used it in awhile since I've been using the seasonals and it smelled so good. It has to be one of my favorite RTM's.

Do the pomegranate styling products smell like the CC? I didn't like the cc, but the finishing creme smelled amazing. I am most interested in the VTS and mousse, but any info would be great!

I was very hesitant and never ordered the Pomegranate products other then the CC. I just received the Pomegranate hair serum in the Beauty TestTube and fell in love with the scent AND how well it works. My hair is even shinier, more volume and keeps the humidity from making my hair frizz. Love the scent too...that is a bonus.

I always wonder when I see Pomegranate as a scent. I grow Pommies, and they really don't have a smell. They are acidic, as my skin shrivels when I seed them, and gets so soft. When you cut them open and crush the seeds, to me there is a slightly raisin/acid smell. Hard to describe, but they barely even smell. Every year I sit down with the grandkids and we seed huindreds of those Pommies!! Then I seal them up in the Food saver in small portions and freeze. We eat them all year round, frozen. I cook them in breads and add to dishes.

So maybe they are imagining what a pomegranite would smell like if it did smell. I use the WEN pomegranate shampoo/cleanser and that is NOT the smell of Pomegranates. I think if there is any odor, it slightly like raisins. LOL!

Just sayin'

Kyelle

I know that WEN Pom has a fruity smell and such. It actually is one of my favorites. It smells so unlike many of the older scents. Although mango/coconut is my too die for choice! I stocked up on that one. I am saying I grow Pomagranates and real pomegranates do not smell, they do not smell fruity and sweet. I was saying real pomegranates when crushed or made into juice has an acid (like a citrus) smell with raisin overtones. Almost like a wine? They just do not smell like WEN. They taste good though!

As we seed hundreds I actually called POM and asked them the best way, hahha! There are 2 ways.

My favorite way is to get 2 bowls, one for seeds, one for garbage. Cover yourself with a trash bag (very smart for Fall). I get a cutting board and slice the end, and then the crown off the pom. Then I take a knife and score outside skin from end to end, about 4 sections. Just cut through the red skin until you hit the pale yellow membrane. Then cut pom in half, across the pom not crown to end.. Over bowl, crack open the pom where it is scored. The membrane should come off the seeds pretty easily, and seeds pop out into bowl.

Many people crack the pom open and seed it submerged in a bowl of water. The seeds will sink, the membrane and loose skins bits will float to top.

here is a quick method in water. It didn't work as well as the first method I described. But I have been doing it for years my way, maybe I am just used to it?

http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=how+to+seed+a+pomagranate&FORM=VIRE1#view=detail&mid=188D94CF9B59C0E70182188D94CF9B59C0E70182
