Fig with anything, for me. I have to have Fig mixed with any core I use or my hair gets dry. How I mix depends on how I feel. Sometimes I put Tea Tree on my scalp and Fig on my length, sometimes I mix them both in my hand before I apply, and sometimes it's just pretty random. If I do TT on my scalp, I do my second wash with Fig, a seasonal, or 613 to make sure that my scalp gets enough moisture, too.

Hi All. Just wondering - what are your favorite CC's to mix? I have tried all the CC's individually to see which work for my hair, and am ready to start mixing different ones to see how they work together. I don't have any of the seasonals, just the core CC's and BGT. Any suggestions/thoughts on your mixing routines and what you have found works best together would be appreciated. Thanks!

I have a ton of sensitivities and allergies, so can't use the majority of the core line. I can however, use BGT and POM. I love them together....they just seem to soften my ends incredibly well! Usually I just use BGT on my scalp and mix the two in my hands half and half for the ends. I do a double cleanse....the first cleanse is almost always just straight BGT.

I typically mix FIG with POM or FIG with a seasonal. I think I may have also tried SOB with BGT and SOB with WCM along with either FIG or SAM (for some reason I don't do as well with just soy formulas -- I usually need to mix is some of the original formulas).

I always use Fig for my first cleanse but change up the mixture for the 2nd cleanse. My fav 2nd cleanse combo is Fig and WCM mixed and for leave in. I can add a couple of pumps of SOB or BGT to that mix and have good results. However, I can't use the SOB or BGT alone.

I have shoulder length thin/fine/porous hair. Here's my routine:

* first cleanse - TT (rotating CA in for every fourth cleanse, just for clarifying purposes)

* second cleanse - any Seasonal (rotating in 613 for every 3rd cleanse)

* leave-in - 1/2 pump 613 CC (16oz bottle), 1 pump 613 SC, 3 pumps 613 mousse

The Seasonals & 613 really help my hair which didn't have any body before using them (I'm never going to have a protein overload problem).

I'm experimenting with BGT CC right now, but I still haven't really figured out how I'm going to incorporate it into my regular routine. -- I may wind up rotating it into my first cleanse sometimes and my second cleanse at other times. I may also wind up rotating the BGT CC into my leave-in (alternating it with the 613 CC) because it seems to give my hair more body than 613 CC does. It has the unique bamboo amino acid complex which seems to do well on my hair.

-- bebe

bebe, I have to figure out how to incorporate BGT into my regimen as well. I used it for the first time yesterday and am pleasantly surprised: I have volume and firmness in my curls. With 613, I have firmness.

This weekend, I plan on doing an extended cleanse with BGT instead of 613 and see how that does my hair.

And, it smells heavenly!

I like to mix LAV with either TT or SAM. With TT, LAV cuts down on the medicinal smell and with SAM it just smells great. I also Mix 613 with TT or SAM too. I love the smell of 613, but can't use it straight. I just started using Fig the other day too...not sure what to mix with it.
