I used Tan Towels on my vacation and.....

I was very happy with the results........I'm very fair and wanted my arms, chest, legs, to have a little color. I used the regular Tan Towels once a couple of days before leaving and twice more during my 11 day vacation......not orange on me at all and didn't stain my clothing.....very easy and fast to use. I recommend.

I like them, too. For me I need a few applications before I get much color so it can get a little costly to use them. But they dry quickly and like you said, they don't stain your clothes...

I have had some pretty awful results with creams etc...probably my application!

I like them, too. I still get that self tanner "smell" after the color has developed, but it's better than anything else I've tried. It was the best of the bunch for me.

How do they work around knees and ankles? Do you need to put on a little moisturizer on those areas before applying?

Love Tan Towels. I keep them from year to year & they are still good. I find that I can reuse mine for at least 2 separate applications. Today I did one application after my morning shower, and did another this evening after a quick wash-off in the shower plus exfoliation. I have a medium skin tone but am pretty pale from winter. Didn't really see any difference this morning but I sure did this evening. You can get some great configurations @ HSN or even from some E-Bay vendors. Well worth the price.

Best for me because I actually use them. Every other self tanning product are a pain to use, smell, are messy, ruin my sheets, etc. Tan towels are just easy, clean and effortless.

Yes, Happy, I agree with you. I buy all of this stuff and don't use it. But the tan towels are easy to use.

I didn't have any issues around knees or ankles. I didn't use a moisturizer beforehand, but I did go a little lighter around the ankle area.

I think they work really well too for a self tanner, look pretty natural and don't smell very strong. The only thing annoying is that they do sometimes roll when applying.

Also I apply to the main parts of my body, then use the less wet towel around ankles and knees.

This is how I've had the best luck with them also. I am light/medium and these give me a natural looking color. They are so fast and easy to use too. It takes less than 5 minutes.

Quick question. Did you go in a pool or ocean at all? I'm wondering how they hold up in Salt Water or a pool. We don't go on vac. until Oct. and between now and then I am going to be trying diff. self tanners. Thank yoU!

I've never used a tanning product before, but I have always wondered, are you supposed to use the product on your face too, and how does one get a tanning product on to their back?

Love tan towels. I heard the rep say during one of the last presentations to save the towel and use it to apply the spray. That would keep the cost down. I haven't used the spray yet, just the towels. What I like the best about them is ease of application and natural appearance.

I did go in the ocean....didn't go in a pool. I had no issues with ocean water....not sure what would happen in a pool.

I've also used Tan Towels for about the last 4 years or so and get many compliments on my "natural tan". I basically use them on my legs when I wear a skirt, so my ugly veins and other marks don't show.
