The job of WEN just changes, not the performance. Right away, my hair looked better and better. It became moisturized, I had no new split ends. I quit shedding like a dog. Then it became thicker, then longer. Due to normal growth patterns, this became the cycle of every 8 weeks or so. I also continued trimming the ragged old ends. Even with trimming the growth in length was great. Now most of my old ends are gone ( a little over two years)' so I have mainly a New head of hair. It continues to be in great shape. I can hold the hair up and see that it does not narrow at the ends anymore due to stripping. I have 2 minute styling in the morning. Which I have always wanted, and I am no longer tied to a curling iron. I used mine once in Feb. and once last around Dec 1. I would not go back to shampoo for the world.

Do you find that WEN still works as well as it did when you first started using it? I am very new to WEN and am loving how my hair is looking and feeling. Just wondering if it continues to work just as well after using it for a long period of time. Thanks for your responses!!

Yes. My hair has never been better. I used to struggle to make 10 weeks between my hair trims due to damage. However, now I can go like 3-4 months. There simply is no damage. My hair has never been smoother, shinier, and healthier. Seriously. And I am one of the most frugal people I know. I will pay for Wen though!

I've been using WEN CC (assorted formulas) exclusively for about 2.5 yrs. and still love it as much today as I did in the beginning. My hair is better condition and I've been able to grow it longer than it's been in years. I've been trying to be more faithful with my overnight oil treatments and it's paying off - I'm seeing some new growth.

I have been using Wen for over a year and a half. I think my hair is in better condition now than when I started Wen, and it was great then. It keeps getting better and better. I love to experiment with the cc's and styling products. I love how everything works together.

Yes, I'm on year three or four now.

If WEN does start performing differently, check to see what other products you are using or have changed. If you use non-WEN styling products that have water insoluble silicones, you can end up getting buildup that WEN won't remove and neither will a sulfate-free shampoo. It pays to read labels. Identifying water insoluble silicones is tricky because some become soluble when combined with different ingredients elsewhere in the listing, but learning how to identify and avoid them is worth it. There are all kinds of lists and sources online, but I've not found one comprehensive list - you have to piece the info together on your own.

I'm 76 or 77 ..loll and my hair has never been better ...or longer I might add. It did take a while to get to know how to use it best for my own hair.

All my life I wanted long hair.I'm a natural blonde and it just never grew past my shoulders. It must have been breaking off because it is really long now.

In fact, you might see my WARNING post here because it got so long it got sucked up into the back end of a hair dryer while I was drying my dogs hair.

So , to answer your question, YES, I still love WEN and have used it for all the yrs Chaz has been here and it still works very good for me.

Just when you think your hair couldn't get any better it does! I'm a long time user (7 years) and I still get "wowed" with results. Granted I've tweaked my routine throughout the years with advice from the ladies here. I do bi-weekly oil treatments religiously and very rarely miss one but when I do it feels strange. I've changed my overnight routines as well, now I alternate remoist with 613 and try to do them at least twice a month. In the past year, I've become a mixologist somewhat but always using TT on my scalp for first cleanse and incorporating 3-4 pumps of 613 in my second. I still continue to learn new things from Chaz's demos and I try them immediately. I've learned through the years not to wait because every bit of advice works.

I go back to 2011 with using WEN regularly. I'm one of those people who had to fail a couple times before the method clicked in. Anyway, I find that because I rotate/or mix several of the formulas my hair doesn't ever feel like it needs a little more of this or that. If my hair is more dry I bump up the pumps of Fig; if I am going to blow dry straight and flat iron I'll use more Lavender and so on. I use a little 613 and Tea Tree with every shampoo and even with the pumps vary.

Long story short I do not see any signs of my hair hitting a plateau with Wen.

Personally, my hair looks better during certain seasons, but that has nothing to do with Wen; my hair is weather sensitive, so I learned to make adjustments to my Wen routine.

Oh, and I've used Wen for many years.

As I mentioned in another recent thread, after using Wen for about a year, I had to switch over to Ojon for about a year. As soon as I was allowed to, I switched right back to Wen (because the Ojon results were not pretty). So I think I've been back using Wen for about a year and a half now (sorry, but I can't keep the exact dates straight).

What Kjelle said really resonates for me:

-- The job of WEN just changes, not the performance.

Going back to Wen again, allowed my hair to bounce right back from it's Ojon stress test. I think I've had all-Wen hair for maybe 6 months now which is wonderful.

It's kind of difficult to quantify but, these days, I get the sense that the subtle changes I see are in the overall health of my scalp. My scalp just feels really healthy, and a healthy scalp means healthy hair.

I love the Seasonals and I'm fortunate that all of them work equally well on my hair. On any number of occasions I've read that it's important to change up your skin/hair care routine in order to keep getting the best results. I think the fact that I am constantly changing the Seasonal I use for my second cleanse may help keep my hair "on it's toes", so to speak. I'm constantly changing up the Seasonals just for the fun of it but, maybe, this is also good for my hair and scalp.

And I just started wexperimenting with my brand new, rice-based BGT a few days ago. So, once again, I'm changing up the mix. BGT gave me some mixed results for the first time I used it but, I have a feeling, that its bamboo amino acid complex (plus the silicon) will bring more positive results. For whatever reason, my hair soaked up more BGT than it does with the other CCs (about 30% more). So there may be new ingredients in the BGT that my hair needs .

-- bebe

Oh well, at least I'm a Wen girl now.

-- bebe

I've been using Wen since Chaz first came to the Q. It was one of the callers, who was Afri. Amer., that made me curious. She said she couldn't believe the results and she raved and raved about the product. Then it was Chaz' humility that got to me. He welled up with tears at the callers comments. I'm glad I was moved to order Wen. It was one of the best beauty decisions I have ever made. My hair has returned to its natural color (it was beginning to look brassy). It is stronger. I lose almost no hair in the comb and it looks good when I wash and air dry if I don't feel like styling it. Wen rules!

It's better!! I started seeing real results probably around my 7th or 8th month. May will mark my 1 year of using Wen exclusively ~ cc and styling cream, etc. I started using oils about 6 months in and that made a very noticeable difference quickly.

I recently cut my hair short and cut off all of my non-wen hair and my hair is amazing. I finally get what he means when he says it should be the same thickness from root to tip ~ for the first time in my life mine actually is!

I'm at the 2-year mark of using Wen and I find it just gets better and better. My hair styles easier than it ever did in my entire life! My mornings are just unpinning my hair and running a comb or round brush through--I touch up during the day by just spritzing with the RTM--so my hair stays nice and hydrated. No hot tools, no heavy styling prods, just gorgeous hair!

Besides styling easier, my hair is longer than it's been in nearly 10 years...and is actually dense and thick again! Even the ends are as thick as the root--like in the demo where he shows the skinny scraggily old hair and the new Wen hair--that's totally my story too!

I used to change shampoos/conditioners constantly--from one line to another and nothing ever in my entire life allowed me to style without using alot of heat (blow dryer and curling irons and/or flat irons)...This is such a freer way of being! I can go on vaca without packing all that heavy junk --just my curl clips/bobbypins--and my hair always looks great!
