She has the worst nails on any shopping channel! Those thick outdated nails from the 80s are gel products, not polish.

Yep, NOMEAT, is correct. She has been asked about her nails a million times on FB. They are gel nails.

Hi Sassy. I love her nails, too. Tried once to get a nail tech to dupe them to no avail. If you google 'Lisa Robertson's nails' you will find info, including her FB page. What you are seeing is not a polish as far as I know, it's the actual gel product her tech uses. Good luck, and FYI, you'll probably get a lot of snarky replies as her nails are a divisive subject. Just ignore them.

I think they are acrylics and she just has the Pink of the pink and white on her nails. is not a polish it is added to the acrylic. She said then she doesn't have to worry about chipping.

I have also read she wears no polish, what you see is the color of the actual gel nails she has.

I wish the hosts on QVC would check out the nails of the hosts on HSN, especially Colleen. The hosts I've seen always have beautifully manicured nails.

What exactly is wrong with the nails of the QVC hosts? They all wear different styles... Lisa likes her muted pink, Shawn does the french mani, MaryBeth usually does a rounded style with a soft colored polish, Antoinette seems to like the bolder colors. Not all the same, yet none are as good as the HSN hosts? I don't watch a lot of either channel, but I have seen some pretty bad manicures over there. I say to each their own. What appeals to one won't appeal to all. They get their nails done to suit them, not please all the viewers since that would be impossible.

Sassy Ann, you can get a similar look from some Essie colors. You might want to try Pink Glove Service, No Pre-Nup, or Hi Maintenance. Some (or all?) of those colors are in the salon line and not the drugstore line, so check stores like Ulta Beauty or beauty/nail supply stores. You can also find a lot of Essie colors from Amazon.com.

Some people are just happier when they're complaining. I don't really care what the host's nails look like - I'm not watching to buy their nails.

Years ago she wore a shade called Prelude to a Kiss. Don't know who it was by, but she seemed to wear it all the time. Very pretty and soft.

EDIT -- Just Googled 'Prelude to a Kiss nail polish' and both Orly and Deborah Lippman have a shade with that name. Not sure which one Lisa wore.

She has talked about OPI Bubble Bath a lot.. I noticed she needed a fill when I saw her hands showing jewelry this last weekend. That bothers me as I don't like the in need of a fill , than unattended nails on anyone. I would rather see natural nails. When you use your hands to display they need to look nice!!! JMHO.

There is no such thing as a simple question, anywhere in this forum.... now the OP knows. At least in the Beauty Board she can learn about getting "thick skin" Hope she dives in and asks more questions.

This is from Lisa's FB page under a FAQ section she has.

Q: What color are your nails?

A: I use a gel nail, no polish. The whole nail is gel, just like an acrylic, but a different material. My manicurist uses a clear pink first, very much like the color of the "Kiss Me" lip balm from Philosophy, then a layer of semi opaque softer pink. Hope that helps, I love not having to worry about messing up my nail polish.

That's what they look like to me, colored press-on nails and very outdated ones at that.

Leah's nails are always perfectly groomed, it she wears acrylics, then her fills are undetectable. Hosts nails are unimportant unless they are selling jewelry, then it's a prerequisite that their manicure be tip top.
