OT - will it ever end???

It is March 31. It is SPRING!!! But it's snowing here in CT!!!! This, after 2 days of pouring buckets!! Big fluffy flakes - don't know if we will get enough to cover the ground, but this certainly has been the winter from h---! Enough already!!!!

No snow here today, but cloudy and cold. Yesterday it was semi springy, but not enough for the calendar.

It's snowing here on Long Island, NY also. The trees and grass are white! I thought that March is supposed to "go out like a lamb".

I'm sick of the cold. I'm beginning to wonder if the earth's axis hasn't tilted a bit and no one has noticed! Wouldn't it be horrible if Spring never came? I love hot weather.

I'm in CT too and we already have 4 inches. It was only supposed to be rain. It is supposed to end by 11 a.m. We'll see.

I am sick of it ! In North West NJ we missed the snow last week. My sister in law called from PA they had ice this morning. We live 1/2 from PA border, rain for the next 2 weeks except tues. & wed. big deal. Cold and damp, still burning oil !

I'm in the metro DC area and we had snow late afternoon/early evening yesterday. And boy, did it ever snow. After all the rain we had over the past couple of days, I would have thought it wouldn't stick, but it was coming so fast that it did stick briefly to the deck and the trees. However, by this morning everything had disappeared. Given the way this winter has gone, I'm not ready to put my snow shovel away just yet.

Normally I don't remember dates like this, but last May I went to visit my son in Las Vegas. I flew home to Michigan on Mother's Day and it was snowing in Detroit when I landed. We didn't have a particularly horrible winter last year (THIS year was a different story!), and we had had some warm-ish days before then, but it was a shock to see snow in mid-May. Now, this year, after the worst winter in history, it wouldn't surprise me if it snowed on the 4th of July.
