Shawn's Wedding??

I have been in and out of the house all day. Earlier, Shawn was selling the Calista Tools hot rollers. She looks at the vendor and says, "I used these for my wedding."

I go outside to clean the patio and come in to see her with IT Cosmetics. She turns to the vendor and says, "I wore this for my wedding".

Is this supposed to make me want to buy this stuff because she used it for her wedding? I imagine she used lots of things for her wedding. She just said it again while I was typing!

She is still mentioning her wedding? Oye!

It's a good selling point. If she was willing to use a certain product for the most important day of her life then it ""must be good"".

Maybe it's a happy time in her life. She seems happy and has not been married all that long. Don't get what the issue is, but .... then again, I really don't get lots of people's issues around here.

They all say similar - they use this product all the time, they have this item in their home, their spouse/kids/sisters/brothers/parents have this item. Just sales tactics

I don't have a problem with her mentioning it. I just thought that three times in short period of time was a bit much. Make that four!

Imagine that, me. Defending Shawn again. Shawn is practically a newlywed, our weddings are one of the most memorable and precious days of lives. The memory of all of that day stays with us for a long time. Shawn refers to her wedding often (so I'm told) because it's still new for her. She could be using "my wedding" to push sales. And that's okay. All of the hosts have their own "I own this in every color" or "Please save one for me xxs!" sales tactics.

I don't see any problem with Shawn saying what she uses or when she used it. Some people should read some of the Qvc hosts facebook pages you will soon come to realize just how caring and thought full these people are. they are down to earth people who are trying to live a normal life with their family and also trying to work and earn a pay check.

Shawn was doing her OTT hosting today. 'Delightfully huge' was one comment she made. I like the old Shawn a whole lot better. Noticed how fake she was with her buddy IM the other night too!! What the heck to the sales trainers do to these people???

I used to adore Shawn. She was one of my favorite hosts. She is so phony now, and she isn't a competent host any longer. I much prefer Jill or Lisa R. Shawn is adorable, but she is not a great host. Sorry, but it's mo.

Shawn seems more silly and more giddy lately. I had to turn her off the other evening when she was hosting Isaac's show. And I agree with the OP about her mentioning her wedding. It's just too much.

One of QVC's divas has gotten so absurd she looks like a Saturday Night Live skit making fun of shopping channel hosts. I am amazed that she doesn't see it. . .

I think some of the host get a little full of themselfs when they work with celebs they then start to think of themself as a celeb also, thats when I think they start getting phoney. My favorite is MaryBeth,

When these hosts have to talk almost nonstop for three hour shifts, I think they all have their "go to" comfort zones - Shawn's wedding, Joe and her feet are hers! Then there's the ever popular "literally" which it seems the entire world is using now. Sometimes I think these hosts just get "in the zone" and have no idea what is coming out of their mouths. I can't blame them, it really is not as easy as it may look, but I'm still with the OP, time for Shawn to move on and find new material!

Some people REALLY need to find something important to do with their lives...something that will give them something else to think about besides what the poor hosts do or do not say...and how many times it does or does not happen!! I sometimes wonder if many who are so critical and picky have any personality of their own or if they are just bland and hang around with other bland people with no particular sense of humor. Kind of sad.
