OMG, thanks to this blog, I was introduced to the Salux cloth. Ordered from Saluxshop.com and received them in just a few days. I have been using daily in my shower and the result is amazing. After spending $$$ on various exfoliating products, this $5 cloth is unbelievable.

I even use it "gently" on my face - but cannot believe the results on my arms, legs and especially my FEET - my heels are like a baby's. I LOVE THIS CLOTH.

Thank you to all who recommended this product - now it is my turn to get on the bandwagon and spread the word.

Aren't they great? I love mine! They feel sooooo good, and rinse out so easily and fast compared to the nylon poufs. I just throw mine in the washer/dryer with my towels and they come out nicely.

I agree! The difference after just ONE use was astounding! Glad you're ordering from saluxshop.com so you know you're getting the real deal.

I never thought about just tossing it in the washer and dryer. I just recently learned to NOT use softener or drying sheets with towels -- can "coat" them and affect their absorbency. Likewise, I wouldn't want that to happen with my Salux, so since I've stopped using the sheets w/towels, next time I'll toss it in with my towel load! Thanks!

Is it just a slightly abrasive nylon mesh type cloth or something else?

I actually love 'em! I had stopped using sheets a long time ago but would get static. These have eliminated static for the most part. During this harsh winter I used a few Meyers dryer sheets.

ETA: I then tried the ball that is supposed to replace detergent. IMO, it did not. Back it went.

Make sure you're getting the real Salux product. I've read there are lots of knock-offs on amazon (probably on eBay as well) and some have shown the Salux package on the website but shipped something else. The knock-offs apparently ARE different, according to those with more experience than I. Good luck!

I am lucky to have a few Asian markets not far from me and that's where I purchased mine. They are a nice find. Now, if I could only figure out a way to hang them to dry in a way that doesn't take up the entire shower or leave other things wet??? Don't use it every day, but I would use it more if I had more space to hang it to dry.

I stopped buying any type of fab softeners long ago, I keep 4 dryer balls in my dryer at all times, does the trick, and they never show any wear or tear.

Yeah, I guess you could call it a "slightly abrasive nylon mesh cloth" but perhaps more than "slightly". I had the poufs and figured it couldn't be too different, just really went for it because it would be easier to do my back. But boy! There IS a difference! If you want to try it, get it from saluxshop.com. Lots of fakes which are probably okay, but I've read there's absolutely a difference there. too.

I hang a plastic tubular hanger on the shower rod, and drape the Salux over it. Of course if you don't have a shower rod, never mind. :-) Don't really know what I'd do if I had a stall. Hmmmm....

It seems like it is awfully big to be used as a washcloth. What is best way to use it, fold it over?

After reading this thread, I have been trying for the past hour to place an order on their website. I finally called them about it, and was asked if I had, by chance, been reading the QVC forum. When I said, "yes," I was told that QVC's forum readers have crashed their site. The nice lady I spoke with told me I was the twenty-first caller this afternoon to call about the trouble.

I think I wasn't interested in those because I liked the fragrance (and probably wasn't thinking about the environment). Maybe I'll pick some up because I'm pretty much an Environmental Gestapo now, and really don't care for any fragrances much any more. I remember the days when we didn't use softeners of any sort, and we got along just fine.

There's just no other word for it -- amazing! I was fully prepared to think yeah, it's pretty good, but it made such a difference! Amazing! :-)

This is absolutely the best recommendation I ever got from this Board! I'm still using the one I purchased about 2 years ago. I use it for dry brushing every night without fail!

I scrunch it up at one end - may not use the whole cloth - but don't want to cut it so I can use across my back. On the SALUXSHOP.COM website - read their comments - it was mentioned that some do cut it.

I'm glad so many are going to try it.
