Best Skin Care Line for those of us over 60

What would you say is the best line to try for someone over 60. Just a basic general kit. Thank you

Paula's Choice will allow you to customize your kit according to your skin issues. She does a skin line called Resist that would be geared esp to women over 60 who are fighting anti-aging.

Her kit can easily be supplemented by certain items from ncn.

Both companies have excellent cs and will answer questions promptly. Also, very reasonable prices and an excellent return policy.

I use products from both sites and am very happy with the results.

I agree! Paula's Choice is a fantastic line (in my opinion), and they are reasonably priced, with very helpful customer service (and super-fast shipping).

I turned 61 today, so I'm officially "over" 60! :-)

Agree on Paula's Choice and NCN Skincare. Haven't used Paula's Choice but lots of impressed ladies. Lots of impressed ladies with NCN, too! Both "good" lines.

I've recently been wowed by Skinn's Collagenesis Stem Rejen products, as well as the 24 Hour Cream. Haven't been that impressed by a lot of his other products, but I've seen results from these four items (Stem Rejen face, lip, eye serums + the 24 Hour cream) like nothing I've seen.

I use my cleansers, other serums, then follow with these. But as we've all learned, what I might love, you might hate. But that's my story and I'm sticking to it. :-)

NCN to my knowledge is only available at her website.

You can get some samples from Paula if you're unsure of something.

The PC website plans out the 5 key steps to a routine and offers different products that will fill that need. I like the way I was able to accommodate my individual needs.

NCN offers a great Vit C used by several posters here. I also bought her copper peptide serum which looks interesting.

There really is no one size fits all line of skincare based on age. Some women will continue to have very oily skin throughout their lifetime, others will have dry skin. Therefore, it is better to base your choices by addressing whatever is most important to you.

Hi Chatam....you purchase NCN on their website. I am currently using their VitC serum and really like it. It has the correct amt of C, perfect ph and a formula that works for me. I have used the Mad Hippie Vit C also, and it too is good. I learned about NCN and Mad Hippie here on the boards, and I have learned so much from the well informed ladies here. Scroll back and you will find long chats about both of them. I have ordered a Resist moisturizer from Paula's Choice and it should come today. I was searching for a daytime moisturizer for my over 60 skin and it sounds perfect for me. I bought Paula's Nude Matte eyeshadow palette a couple weeks ago and it is, hands down, the best nude palette I have ever used. Have fun trying things out!

I'm not there yet, but close enough - I have totally changed over to Skinn products from the mixed bag of products I used to use. I've seen an improvement in wrinkles around the eyes, skin clarity and softness. I've been mainly using his Collagenesis line.

I like Isomers. I also liked the products I tried from NCN. I did not care for the few products I tried from Paula's Choice. If I stop using Isomers I would go back to NCN. Sign up for her newsletters to receive any promo codes.

For me, Paula's Choice offers more than NCN in terms of the basics, and also has excellent targeted treatments as well.

While I use and like very much NCN's Vitamin C serum and the Multi-Active Matrixyl 25 % serum, I shy away from the other products because they often include something that I fear might irritate my very sensitive skin.

I virtually never have to worry about that with PC's products, as long as I don't buy something not indicated for my skin type (e.g., AHA products).

And even though I have received prompt answers to my questions from NCN, I find PC's customer service to be easier to contact and always informative and helpful.

I guess I will be the ""odd one out"" today as I have a favorite line and I am over 60. I use HSN's Serious Skin Care C-line for ten years now and people think I am much younger!

Chatham, I agree with some that no one size fits all, and using products from one line isn't always the best. My only suggestion to you is to use a Vitamin C serum in the morning and a retinol product at night -- apply from the top of your forehead down onto your neck and beyond.
