I think you'll really like it!

Taking okiebug's suggestion one step further, maybe you could buy a small bottle of essential oil and add a one or two drops of it to the BGT CC every time you cleanse. My BGT is currently en route to me so I still don't know exactly what it smells like, but some people have mentioned a green or gardenia scent (a bit like SGGT). Perhaps, it a jasmine, gardenia or lilly of the valley (muget) essential oil would balance the BGT scent. Whole Foods sells a good range of essential oils, or you could pick one up at a health store for around $10.

Below I've included a few links to threads about curls/waves.
Bamboo Green Tea

I got my bamboo green tea and I'm on the fence.

First of all, I'm one that has a ton of sensitivities so the only formulas in the core line I should be able to use are POM and BGT. I can also use the seasonals and Kids.

When I first smelled it, I was thinking that I'd like it like everyone here. OMG I nearly HATED it.....NEARLY. Smelled it a few times and thought, Well, I'll use it once and see how it does. In the shower the fragrance wasn't as bad though, so I may be able to deal with it. But the performance is INCREDIBLE for my hair.....so moisturized!

So I have no idea what I'm going to do. I have a month to decide though, so it's ok. I'll use it a few more times before I decide for sure.

I do have one question. I have curly hair. It's loose curl that I can easily round brush straight or wear curly. I don't have the mousse yet, but plan on getting it in the future. In the meantime, since I decided to wear it curly today I used some natural curl products I already have on hand. Anyone else use other hair products with Wen?

What I did was I put some back in as leave in, then put in some 613 SC to prime for my other products. Since I planned on wearing it curly instead of twisting it in I scrunched it in but made sure to REALLY scrunch. My curl pattern is finicky....it likes to fall flat with too much manipulation. Then I put in my other products.

TIA!!!!

I'm probably not much help because I'm not that affected by the scents. Guess my nose doesn't work as well as some, and performance is the most important thing to me. My thought is if you can handle the scent now keeping in mind how incredible your hair will look, it's possible you could get used to the smell. And keep in mind the scent is only during your shower, if you put 613 in as a leave in, the scent of the bamboo will be gone. If you absolutely can't stand it, you could try mixing a pump or 2 of the 613 in with the Bamboo to mask the scent.

I'm going to stick it out for at least a week. Can't use 613 though because of the patchouli but there are some other things I could mix it with.

I don't care for the scent either but I've been mixing it with others and found I can use it that way. I love TT for my scalp and always use it for my first cleanse so I've been adding a few pumps of the BGT to it and I don't notice the BGT. I do like the how light it is and it rinses out easily.
