Since most people just received both a core CC and a 613 CC in the recent Wen TSV, I thought it would be a good idea to post this information.

613 Cleansing Conditioner is more concentrated than all the other CCs, so you use fewer pumps of the 613 CC whenever you cleanse your hair.

For each hair length and CC bottle size, there is more specific information about the exact number of pumps to use in the post below this one.

Because 613 CC is more concentrated than all the other CCs, you use fewer pumps of the 613 CC whenever you cleanse your hair.

The information on the back of the Wen CC bottles is somewhat more general and varies a bit. So the information below reflects the recommendations from the chazdean.com website. -- This is followed by information on the number of pumps in each size of the Cleansing Conditioner bottles (note the number of pumps in the 32 oz. bottle is not double the number in the 16 oz. bottle).

The number of pumps indicated is for the entire cleanse. -- Chaz recommends that you cleanse, rinse and repeat, using half the pumps for the first cleanse and the remaining pumps for the second cleanse.

Note: I have listed the 613 CC information first, and this is followed by the information for all the other CCs.

So I calculated the numbers of pumps for very long hair using on the information available from the "pumps" numbers for shorter hair lengths.*

I go by feel to determine how many pumps to use. I do notice that I use less pumps for 613 than for Fig or TT.

Is it that 613 is thicker or that the bottle & pump is just a bit taller? I've noticed BGT is thicker than POM but the recommended pumps remain the same?

I never got good results with WEN until I found the ones that worked for me and USED enough of the stuff. When I did, I did not have to cleanse so frequently and had better results, even though I never did a second cleanse or a leave in pump. I do use one pump of the styling cream, though.

To cleanse, I use half 613 and half the seasonal that I like (don't like all of them)

Since I have the 32 oz. size, the pumps are bigger, so I use four from the seasonal and four or five of the 613 on really wet hair. I leave it in for three minutes as I shower, then rinse really well. Great results.

I found it easier to use by diluting it. When I had used about 1/4 of the bottle, I added water. Makes it easier to pump, and the number of pumps is more comparable to the other formulas.

Wwn actually made it easier for me. Shampoo made my hair dry and most conditioners weighed it down, so if I went without it I spent all day adding product to tame flyaways. Or I would condition and end up with flat grasy looking hair. With wen its one and done...okay two, I cleanse and use sc and my hair is soft and manageable.

When I called the salon months ago and asked about how much to use on my hip length hair they said 3 and 3 from the gallons ( 6 pumps total). I usually use 4 and 4 but sometimes only 3 and 3 depending on formula.

There have been some questions about 613 CC lately and how to use it most effectively. When using 613 CC, you use fewer pumps that for the rest of the Wen CCs.

Post #1 (which is the post directly after the initial post) should provide more info on how many 613 CC pumps to use for various hair lengths. And the number of pumps varies depending on which size CC bottle you are using.
