Odds of getting a waitlisted 8oz Remoist?

Hi Wenners!

I almost missed the 8oz remoist deal, but logged in and saw it at the end of the day Saturday (3/15). I went on waitlist for Fig, as that's my first choice for "flavor". I saw that CA was still available but decided to hold out for my Fig. I then realized that was foolish and decided to go ahead and get the CA and stay on waitlist for the Fig, since there should be no difference in performance, only scent; but of course, by then the CA was sold out too. So my waitlisted Fig is my only hope and I'm checking every day to see if it will be shipped.

I've only had one other experiece with waitlist and the item shipped the day after I placed my waitlisted order. I assume that time I recieved one so quickly b/c someone else canceled. We all know that's unlikely in this case with the Remoist.

So what are the odds that I'll actually get a Fig remoist? I don't want to get my hopes up!

Congrats to all who saw the deal and jumped on it in time!

Check your order for shipping status. I also had a FIG remoist on waitlist and shipped yesterday, I just received my other two today that weren't waitlisted.

I am in a similar situation as you. I debated about the re-moist. Then Bebe777 pointed out how good a deal it was. By that time, the Fig was waitlisted. She then posted, telling us not to wait b/c we might not get it. She showed how there is little difference btw all of them. So, I was able to get the SAM.

I called customer service today. They doesn't know if or when it will come in. She did sound optimistic but, I don't know if that's her job or if she feels it's going to come in.

We'll just have to keep our fingers crossed.

I guess I will just stalk my order status and hope it ships! I really regret not just going ahead and getting the CA. Ugh!

Hmmm....I don't know if there will be any other Remoist deals that amazing in the future, but I hope the fall TSV contains it and/or the oils! Dreaming......

PS- And I really want the comb too! Sigh.

The reason the regular Wenners get into a frenzy when there is an amazing deal is that they've seen a few of these deals get sold out within an hour of a TV presentation... never to be seen again at that price (or, at least, not for a very long time).

That said, QVC screwed up on a 613 4-pc special for me last December. I stayed on waitlist for two months and finally they shipped to me. So it can happen...

Let's all hope I was wrong... maybe that will work!!

There's a good way to get the comb. For Mother's Day Chaz usually has a special with 20% off and free shipping for everything. A Wen comb would be around $12.40.

I am wait-listed for this as well. I have always had luck with waitlist items. I am hoping this is not the time that it lets me down! I will say however, when the Q knows for certain they will not get more quantities of things they do not accept waitlist orders so I am holding out hope!
