Tell me WHY you put a pump on the tube when it doesn't work? Looks like this is going back. Poor quality control.

You need to prime it by pressing it a lot. Once you get it going it should be fine. You only need one pump once it starts working. It's great stuff!

Yes, you do have to prime. I did have my trusty tube quit working the other day, simply squeezed the tube while pumping the pump and it apparently re-primed and is back to working great.

Yours is the first complaint I've read of this -- hopefully the advice these ladies have given you will help you get it up and running. And then, hopefully you'll love it!

I wouldn't think it's a quality control issue if there seem to be no other complaints, At worst, you may have gotten a dud.

Agree, first time I've seen this problem. Hopefully you can get it working, otherwise call CS and get another shipped out and free shipping back of the defective one. Great stuff.

Yes, you need to prime it. I've also found I need to keep it standing up. That way the product flows to the pump. I haven't had any problems. I had one of the smaller tubes without any problems, too.

And I have no idea what that weird thing is below what I typed. I tried to edit it out but it won't go away.

Also..... I shake all of my liquid products a few times before pumping. Just in case things have separated while sitting & also I think it helps get the product moving around better. This did take a few times of pressing down on the pump before it started. Also make sure you're pressing down ALL the way on the pump. I've had no problems with it working since!

Thank you everyone for your help. I tried pumping several times that I had to take it off and then a whole lot came out. I just don't see why they didn't have a plane old squeeze tube.

I had to work mine quite a bit to get it started.

My only issue is that mine was only 2/3 two thirds full, the bottom few inches of the tube you can push flat together.

Now for the re-order, return and call CS for return fee, annoying but---

The pump prevents product that has come in contact with your skin and the air from being sucked back in to the tube, thus eliminating the contamination factor.

On my makeup table I have a bathroom toothbrush style holder with two large compartments and 4 smaller ones. I keep the CC cream pump upside down in one of the larger holes and the under eye tube upside down in the other. Mascara, eye brow marker and small brushes fill the 4 small ones. It keeps everything neat, organized and ready to go. And, pretty too!
