I think I'm pretty moderate. I generally stay with what works for me and maybe add a product here or there -- like my Vitamin C serum or an exfoliant.

I definitely don't feel the need or desire to try every new skin care product that I see on air or online.

After trying numerous makeup and skin care items, I have come full circle and am using 90% of the same items that I began using in 2005, when I first got into makeup. Sadly, this is hundreds of dollars later. I wish I understood the compulsion to continue to try new things. Am I the only one that does this?

No. I enjoy trying new things. Even if what I have been using works...I always will try something new.

I'm always trying to find the "perfect" item. Sometimes I buy something, I'm not quite satisfied with and throw it into a drawer and weeks or months later try it again and find I now like it. Sometimes it just depend on how you apply it or the condition of your skin.
