What shade of IT CC cream for Fair, but not Porcelain Skin?

I am very fair, but not porcelain. I'm afraid that the fair will be too fair, and the light will be too dark. I am sallow, not pink. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi itsme-I asked a similar question on another thread and was pointed to the Light. I am fair-with redness-and I'm hoping the Light works well. I think the Fair is really for true alabaster ladies.

ONE MORE QUESTION... I know the brush is great, but is it necessary? If not, given the price with S/H, I'm tempted to just get CC cream at Ulta.

The brush isn't necessary, the CC Cream was originally sold without the brush. I'm sure it's very nice, but not needed to apply.

The shade chart makes it look like it's a huge jump from Fair to Light, and to me the Light model looks more tan than the Medium model. I wish they'd update the shade chart.

If you are fair, you should get the fair. The light will be too dark.

Thanks for the site...just checked out the colors. I really want to order this, but all the colors except fair look yellow/orangy. Maybe it's just because she was definitely fair-skinned. I have read that come think the colors are a bit yellow. I'm pretty sure I would be a light...just don't want it to be too yellow!!

Thanks ladies! Angelcake, I think you're right! Ginabfly, thanks for the link.... Based on the pictures on phyrra . net, I'd get the fair. The light looks very dark!

If you have an Ulta near you, I would go see if they have it and test both. Light was too dark for me and I don't think Jamie is right when she says that Light is for the most porcelain ladies.

I agree. I tried the light and it was also too dark for me. I might be able to get away with it in the summer, or mix it in somewhere. I ended up with the fair in the TSV.

I 'm a Light usually.

Ordered the Light and found it too dark for me.

Have been waiting to receive the Fair and just got it this morning. The Fair is perfect for my Light skin.

If you're on the dark side of Light, the Light is probably good for you but, if you're on the light side of Light, the Fair is probably best.

I'm fair but not porcelain, I got fair and it is perfect. Light was too yellow-orangy.

I agree also, the light is a tinge yellow where as the fair is more cool tone. If it is too light then brush bronzer on it very lightly. I use Estee Lauder bronze goddess because it is not a muddy or orange bronzer. I am pale so it gives me just the barest hint of color and it has lasted me for years.

I have fair skin also (light, but not porcelain). I don't tan anymore, but when I did I would burn first then tan. I ordered this TSV in the shade Light. Hope that helps!
