Looking for a good red-orange lip shade. Does not matter if it a gloss, stain or matte lipstick. Suggestions please?

The Lipstick Queen has some of the best reds. For an orange red, you might like Fire Red. The color is available in two formulas-- sheer and full coverage matte. The sheer version is part of the Saint collection. The full coverage is part of the Sinner collection.

MAC Lady Danger is an orange leaning red and has the best name ever. Here's a link to Temptalia's pictures. It's a matte finish. Here's a picture of it next to some other reds. (Source: Corals with Blues blog.)

If you want a red gloss that is fairly opaque, non-frosted, and has orange undertones, check Milani Red my Lips. Five ninety-nine at the drug-store!

I like Revlon's Moondrops in 24K Orange or Revlon Red. Both are lovely (mixed together too) Check out the swatches on google.

Another vote here for Revlon Moondrops - they have several orange-y colors like Polished Apple. Very creamy and long-lasting too.

If it's just for day wear, Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer in Cherry is the perfect red/orange. It's my favorite red/orange for day wear.

How Great of Chynneblue to post the color Shades! The ladies here ROCK! very helpful, I have the first too shades, Ruby Woo, and the other Red...All nice, and as with all MAC lipsticks, they are very good quality and long lasting!
