I'm curious what your favorite item is for teeth whitening?

I have a job that I am frequently talking to people, and feel like my teeth could use some whitening.

I use IntelliWhite on HSN with the toothpaste. It's one of those pens you put on your teeth, but the toothpaste is phenomenal too.

Mouth guards used in sports and Plus White 5 Minute

Buy the mouth guards in the sporting goods section, the kind that you put in hot water and then you can customize them to your teeth. I hink they were maybe they were $2 each.

Plus White 5 Minute gel is available everywhere. Put a little on your finger and rub onto your teeth, put the mouth guards on. You can keep it on longer than 5 minutes, that's just the name.

I use Whitening mouth wash daily, twice a day.

I do the mouth guard thing once a month. I brush my teeth, do the gel and mouth guards, hop in the shower and take it out when I'm done with my shower. Usually 10 minutes.

I had my teeth professionally whitened years ago before it became the rage. I kept it up by using baking soda and Peroxide, followed up with a good toothpaste - Crest, Colgate whitening toothpaste (at times). They are still white, but not an artificial white, which makes teeth look thin. The mixture also helps your gums - I have never had gum disease or any other dental problems.

I like IntelliWhite better than most of the other home formulations I have tried. There's a full collection of whitening items, and depending upon how much whitening your teeth need if you choose IntelliWhite a complete kit may be the best way to start.

If you want to start simply with just a toothpaste I highly recommend the IntelliWhite toothpaste or Supersmile.

i use supersmile and i love it.. i use to use the whitestrips, they do make my teeth very sesentive, i have been looking for something different to use, was thinking of trying the smile active pens .. but i heard there not that good, i'm going to buy the crest whitestrips and use them like 3 x a week, hoping they wont make my teeth too sesentive, and still keep using my supersmile.. i love white teeth also i did hear to make a baking soda & peroxide paste and brush ur teeth with it

I have just starting using super smile and I love it too !! Noticed a big difference in only the 2 weeks I have been using this product I ordered a trial size from infomercial but I know QVC sells larger quantities and will probably buy it here when I run out. There is peroxide in the rinse you use before brushing- great results !

yes i get the jumbo tubes from here. i use it only 1 x a day, it lasts awhile.. been using it for about 4 yrs. like i said i just wanna try something else in between using supersmile.. they really need to make whitening pens. don't know why they dont.. they have freakin gum lol

I recently saw on youtube that the dollar tree sells the five minute white with the mouth tray! I rushed out and got mine. It was a little hard to spot and I thought maybe my dollar tree didn't carry it, just as I was about to give up I spotted it. It works great! The mouth piece is very comfortable and it is easy to use. They also have the pen, I bought both but have noticed the biggest difference using they gel/tray. Can't believe the results I am getting for one dollar!

My grandfather - I'm 63 and he was born pre 1900 - used baking soda and peroxide back when. Wouldn't use anything else. As he aged, he had to go into the hospital a few times. We all laughed when the nurses would give him a cup for "his false teeth" overnight. He'd explain "They're ALL mine and they're not going in any cup." The nurses thought he was joking at first, then realized he wasn't. He grew up in Poland and emigrated to America when he was 19 or 20. He had his own teeth until the day he died. Did I mention that he was a dear & fabulous man that I loved with every bit of my heart. I was lucky enough to be raised with my grandparents until I was 5. My parents went to work to get a down payment for our house. My grandparents ran a mom-'n-pop grocery store and my aunt ("More Mommy") and they were there to take care of me. I was truly blessed.

I digress.......lol. I bought SuperSmile here on the Q. A former Q hostess was the vendor and I fell for her spiel. I got the MILD original flavor. I hate the flavor. I'm trying to use it at least 1x a day but I can't say I've noticed any improvement.

If you start brushing with Sensodyne Maximum Strength toothpaste a week before using whitestrips or do any other bleaching, it really helps with the sensitivity. Then just continue using it during and after the whitening treatment. 8)

I agree and was told by my dentist to use Sensodyne Max a week prior to having my teeth whitened professionally with Zoom to prevent sensitivity and it worked . I also have trays & professional product, also from my dentist, that I use periodically and I brush daily with Supersmile. It takes work and dedication to keep your teeth white. I actually gave up my morning tea but its worth it to have a white & beautiful smile.

Good points, but you really don't have to give up enjoying your morning tea. I'm a lifelong tea lover (no coffee), so I know LOL.

Experts say that if your brush your teeth immediately after drinking tea or coffee, you'll get rid of anything that could stick to the enamel. 8)

Also, if you drink cola, always sip it with a straw.
