topic Bone Marrow Register Anyone? in Beauty

I know this is the beauty boards, but a lot of people see it so I thought what the heck. Did you know if you go to www.marrow.org you can register and they send you a kit to swap your check and send back. It is that easy. Your information is stored and you may get a call or never. This can save lives. Imagine if you knew you were able to let a parent plan their child's birthday party instead of their funeral? Or a parent is able to see their first grandchild. I know if you really have to donate there is discomfort, but discomfort to saving a life really doesn't seem that important. We can all make a difference in someones life, even going down to the library and reading to kids. My plea is personnel because someone registered my cousin survived his third bout of cancer. All family members didn't match and he had to go to the registry. He just saw his son graduate from collage and his little girl in starting High School. He never would have seen this if some wonderful person hadn't taken the time to register. I know some people would be against this and against some religions and I really respect that and don't want to offend anyone. It's just sometimes we get so caught up in our busy lives, we forget how one small thing can change someones life.
