Is anyone using Wen everyday?

Hello everyone,

I am relatively new to the Wen world and I am curious to know if anyone uses it everyday or nearly everyday. I have thin hair with an oily scalp so I use the cucumber aloe formula and tend to have to wash it almost everyday with maybe one day off on the weekend. I use a blow dryer and one of Chaz's brushes to blow it out. I also use the cucumber aloe styling creme and have tried the bamboo green tea which I like as well.

I am trying to nurse my hair back to health after years of flat ironing and I just wanted to see if anyone is in the same boat as I am or has any advice.

It sounds like we have similar hair. My hair had always been on the oily side. I'd have to wash it daily before WEN and that continued even after WEN (for two years). While I like how WEN makes my hair look and feel, I could never get that good second day hair even when using CA CC. It wasn't until I began using the oils that my scalp oil production normalized/stabilized and I can skip a day of cleansing now. I do an overnight scalp treatment several times a week. On the second day after cleansing, I still use a little dry shampoo to get some lift at the scalp, but that's fine with me and I see it as a big improvement.

It's really whatever you prefer. I have one bottle of Lavender that I'm trying to use up, but the rest of my stock is a mix of old and new CA and TT, plus some new SAM. Right now, I'm using TT more than anything, in order to prepare my hair and scalp the best I can to hopefully prevent any future loss from going under anesthesia in a few weeks.

To do an overnight oil treatment, lean your head back and apply about 4 droppersful to your scalp. Get the point of the dropper right down in there against your scalp, then move it as you dispense the oil. After you apply all the oil, go back and massage your scalp. If I'm going to be up for awhile to give it time to soak in, I'll just pile my hair up on top of my head and hold it with a clip/clamp. If I'm going right to bed, I'll wrap my head in a turbie towel and sleep with that on. Sometimes I'll cover my pillow with a hand towel, but it always ends up moving.

In May, I will have used Wen for 2 years. I have cleansed daily almost that whole time. I have just now this month started being able to skip a day between cleansings.

Saramarie, like you and JLF I also have hair that tends toward oily although it has really stabilized in my 6 months of Wen usage. I almost always cleanse daily because I get the best results for styling that way, but I could skip a day now if I wanted to. Chaz always says use it as often as you like and many of us do. Also, like JLF said, try the oils which will REALLY help with your oil production! I love the SAM oil! :-)

I am a greasy gal myself and my saving grace is dry shampoo. It is the only way I can get two days per cleanse.

Yes, I am a daily washer. I have fine, thin hair down to my collar bone. It gets oily if I do not wash daily, and this has NOTHING to do with Wen or not. It always has.

I have always cleansed with Wen daily.I have very fine, oily hair that I keep in a short pixie that I use alot of products in.My hair looks best done everyday.

I am pretty much a daily cleanser as well. I think I average about 5 cleanses a week for myself. I've been using Wen for 2 years now and can honesty say that my second day hair isn't near as bad as it use to be, its tolerable in a pony for running errand or going to the gym.

I do notice that when I skip a day cleansing, the next cleansing day my hair is amazing and beautiful so I have been trying to have more skip days.

I do agree with JLF that the oils have been great for my oily scalp. I also love the TT CC, its just as good as the CA CC for me.

Wow! Thank you all so much for sharing your experiences.

I just ordered the cucumber aloe oil so we will see how it goes. I also ordered the CC travel packets in the multi-pack with the six-thirteen. My mom and I are curious to try some other formulas and the travel packets seemed like the best way to do that.

I'm looking forward to Chaz coming back in March to see what kinds of deals he brings with him. I'm a student so it's always nice to get a good price on the products I love to use.

I definitely cleanse every day. Sounds like a lot of us fine-haired ladies do!

My hair really flattens out overnight. I've tried the RTM, and it helps, but I still feel better when I wash in the morning. That's why sometimes I only do one cleanse - there's not that much buildup.

The only time I won't wash my hair in the morning is if I'm sick. And then no one sees me anyway!

I have thick hair, and I use Wen everyday. I only do a single cleanse, though. I split the recommended amount for my hair length in half, get it frothed up and all thru my hair, then let it sit while I finish my shower. Getting great results that way! My hair just does not "sleep" well, plus I don't like the way it feels about half way thru the day if I don't cleanse.

I cleanse just about every day.

I have thick, coarse hair which I keep short. I have severe bed head every morning (I look like a pineapple when I get up) and I exercise and get sweaty nearly every morning.

I just do a single cleanse.

Yes, I cleanse daily, sometimes twice a day depending on work and working out schedule. I have very fine short hair and it has just enough natural curl to create wild bed head in the morning. My hubby says I remind him of one of our polish hens, ( fancy chicken with big fancy hair do). So I do cleanse everyday just because of that and I also like the feel of fresh clean hair every day.

I cleanse almost every day too, and I have fine, thin hair also. I can easily go a couple days in between without feeling oily. But, I just prefer the freshly cleansed feeling when I go to work, etc. But on the weekends when I stay home I don't cleanse. My hair just feels kinda flat on non cleanse days.

Sorry I'm a little late to the party. I cleanse everyday, mainly because I workout everyday. I have long curly hair, and would still cleanse everyday because i can never get second day curls to look good, and i can't brush my hair without frizz.

I cleanse every day. I have really bad allergies and find that if I don't wash my hair every day it really effects me. Also, to me personally I can't imagine not washing my hair every day, but that's just me. I have curly long hair and I also can't brush it, so even using the mist on the 2nd day like Chaz suggests doesn't work for me.

I cleanse my hair in the morning nearly every day, sometimes twice aday depending upon my activities (yardwork/exercising etc.) I have done this for years, long before WEN. My hair is thick and very long (past my waist) cut straight across & has NO split ends. I don't like to wear my hair just down so it does get styled in braid(s), curled, ponytail(s) and in a twist or a bun (always in a bun when I'm in any kitchen/cooking). I have always made sure that my hair/scalp is well conditioned/oiled etc. and I rarely use blow-dryers or flat-irons.
