Odd request but I am looking for a shampoo that is maybe over moisturizing and over soft. So much so to where it is hard for your hair to hold a curl if you know what I mean.

I'm a WEN girl, but if I were steering someone to a non WEN for ultra moisture, Dove would be high on the list. It's inexpensive too. The Dry Oil Shampoo and the original Daily Moisturizing perform nicely on my tight kinky curls.

The best moisturizing shampoo is Moroccan Oil Shampoo "Repair". It took about 6 weeks of use and my dry, colored treated hair, is super soft, shiny, and very healthy. I also use the Repair Conditioner. I tried everything fRom expensive to store brands and Nothing worked as good as this brand. Other brands say they have Argon oil but not as much as this brand has in their products.

I get this result from Pantene, Dove, Aussie and Pert, which is why I don't use them. My hair texture is fine, and my hair is less than 2" long, so these shampoos make my hair very flat and clingy on my head, which is not the end result I happen to be looking for. Right now, I am alternating Tresemme and Suave with Argon Oil.

If you're a Costco member -- Kirkland Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner.

Rumor has it that they're made by Purology. Since they are sulfate-free, the result is very soft and silky.
