topic Botox...avoiding previous problems and cost? in Beauty

I had Botox for the first time February, 2010. I loved the results except for the eye area. It changed the shape of my eyes and made my eyelids wrinkled and droopy. I paid $525 to have three areas done (this procedure was done at a skin spa, not by a plastic surgeon). When I called to ask about my eyelids, the only response was ''this has never happened before...we can inject more botox". I chose not to do that and eventually the eyelids went back to normal, but I have stayed away from Botox since then. Thinking about it again, now, I called a plastic surgeon that I am familiar with and asked about his cost...$750 for three areas. I also discussed the droopy eyes and they were very familiar and assured me that this would be avoided.

Is $750 reasonable for a plastic surgeon? Have you had better results when you went to a different practitioner? Any input will be appreciated. (I'm 48 with minimal wrinkles, but looking tired.)

Thanks!
