I just gave Philosophy it's last chance with fragrance. Makes me so sad what has happened to this once iconic staple among Women everywhere. How does a strong product get sooo screwed up to the point it is not even recognizable? This former Philosophy girl is no more!

Just finished my last bottle of 3 in 1 shower gel....had a huge stash....not buying anymore. I have found some great moisturizing ones now from various brands....less expensive but less drying and best if all....great scents!

I tried to find Fresh Cream shower gel and it is not even on the Philosophy site and I don't think it is on QVC either. I bet the fragrance is nice. When I call Philosophy and tell them about amazing grace changing they swear it has not.......why then do we all think it has changed? I think Monday we all need to call Philosophy and ask for the truth. I loved that Fragrance.

I love Fresh Cream, but I think that's the only Philosophy product I still use.

It is always sad and disappointing when companies mess around with their popular, core products' formulations. It is often money related, of course, you know, trying to go a cheaper route (yet the cost for the consumer keeps going up). So many things I've loved in the past have gone that way, unfortunately.

I was cleaning under my sink, and found a huge bottle of Amazing Grace Lotion. It was 2/3 full. It had to be 4 years old. It was stored under a dark cool cabinet. When I tried the lotion, it smelled so good. So I have been using it, and this old stuff really lingers. That is what the old Philosophy lotion did, linger. It is also richer, creamier and very fragrant! The texture is different than the newer creams. JMHO. My lotion coulod have got thicker with age, but it seems the same as I remember it when it was new. The newer lotions are awful. They don't have fragrance, or have that "clean, fresh" note when they have been on the skin. The lotion now it very different. They changed something, as it is NOT the same.

I love the Amazing Grace lotion, and then Beach perfume!

I've been using Amazing Grace, Pure Grace and Falling in Love shower gels, lotions and perfumes for years and I don't notice any difference in the scents or textures of the products. I also like Unconditional Love, Inner Grace and Living Grace which I've purchased recently.

same here just finished up a uber of amazing grace from 5 years ago. it still smelled great !! too bad. but my grieving had to come to an end sometime......

Of course, detecting any differences is all in your head - so they would have you believe.

I used to like a couple of the Philosophy fragrances. I smelled a sample of Love, Sweet Love, but too many synthetics (perhaps all) and so no Philosophy purchase for me.

I was wondering if they were getting better. I picked up a huge bottle of Living Grace Body Firming Emulsion from Marshall's. It is so strong!!! The scent lasts so long. It is much stronger than the Amazing Grace Body Firming Emulsion lotion I had been using. My AG is about a year old. Although strong and long lasting, unfortunately Living Grace is not my favorite. Coty made LG so who knows, maybe it has cheaper fragrance in it so they can load up on scent.

Ya know, I got caught up in the hype once and bought some Philosophy shower gel and cologne spray at a dept store. It didn't take me long to realize that the Philosophy didn't smell any better, or lather any better, or get me any cleaner than any of the other products I'd been buying. What's sad is that people still buy Philosophy products when there are much cheaper products in stores that are equally good, if not much better.

Have these changes been occurring SINCE she sold the company? Too often, despite promises to the contrary, a large company will come in and tweak products to make the manufacturing/ingredients less costly, with an eye on increased profit margins for the shareholders.

I won't buy anymore of Philosophy's lotions or shower gels. They have no scent at all now. I may occasionally buy some of the fragrances.

I still have some AG shower gel, parfume and hand creme from 2009. They still smell good. They lost my business 5 years ago. When a product is good the way it is, don't mess with it.

My Philosophy products have scent. I have the new whipped body creme in AG, BG, GG, FIL, and love them all. I have been using Philosophy for about 18 years. AG is the same as then to me. It never was a strong fragrance. It was never meant to be. Cristina had a sensitive nose.

You said ""this once iconic staple among women."" Sorry but that is a little extreme. Most of the women I know and have worked with have never had any interest in Philosophy. I got caught up in the hype and bought one of the holiday offerings several years ago and thought the smell was just awful. I brought one bottle of it to a white elephant gift exchange and the poor person who picked it first kept it since no one wanted to trade their white elephant gift for hers.
