I've had good results with mine. I do use the FaceMaster in conjunction with it, but it's not necessary.

It takes a bit of practice but with time, some patience and consistency results are attainable. The key is consistency.

The current (frequencies) stimulate the underlying muscles of the skin, giving them a workout, so to speak, which in turn builds the muscles.

If you google the anatomy of the face and look at the musculature, you'll be able get a good look at what the muscles look like and their connective functions.

I've been able to lift the right side of my face (which had a sag because of 2 prior TIA's which are mini strokes) by a measured 1/2". (last measure) That includes the eye area, including brow, to underneath the jaw bone.

I would imagine that the muscles would respond the same or similarly because the devices utilize the same technology.

The SSG EGG comes with 2 hand held devices. The FM has 2 wands and 2 finger thingies (sorry can't think of what they are called lol) and you can only use one hand at a time.

To me personally, the feel the current differs between the EGG and the FaceMaster. I can use the FaceMaster more precisely to target areas than I can the EGG. I can't tolerate using the EGG on my forehead, even at the lowest pulse. I can use the FM comfortably on every area and you can target the eye area more precisely. The EGG has a short time beep which cuts the current (which I find annoying) whereas the FM doesn't.

The EGG is supposedly, (which is my term) cleared for use on the neck area. I do but ONLY with the utmost of caution and I wouldn't really recommend using it there. You have to be REALLY careful and pay very close attention in order to avoid the carotid and thyroid areas. I would also caution using them around the temples.

Sorry, I don't know who JFS is ?? lol

I just ordered this today. I sent back the nuface trinity because it was so expensive, but it did work. Hopefully this will work just as well. I thought it was well-priced.

That's kind of a hassle to fit into my "schedule" (like I'm busy or something) so I emailed them to ask why. Received a response that the muscles might still be responding 24 hours after treatment.

Okay. And? What does that mean? Do I really care if the muscles are still responding, and if so why? Better communication is needed.

Ideally I should stick with the NuFace but the "2 sides at once" option with the EGG is just SO appealing, though!

Thanks for your response!!

I do but ONLY with the utmost of caution and I wouldn't really recommend using it there. You have to be REALLY careful and pay very close attention in order to avoid the carotid and thyroid areas.

Google "Superficial Temporal Artery" then click on the first option which is Wiki.

Cool! You should call in and tell your story. Forevermore they'll be quoting you in every presentation.

I can only speculate, because I don't have any experience with the NuFace, nor have I looked at the specs.

I just wanted to give some feedback to you ladies. After two days of using this, my mother told me my face looked "different". She couldn't quite put her finger on it and asked if I used botox. I have been using this faithfully every night and I do see a very slight lift. I'm going to see if the benefits are cumulative. Happy weekend

I think I'm going to try this -- I have the NuFace but it's so hard to fit into my schedule having to wait a full 24 hours between my treatments. Also, It's not the "5 minutes" they tout -- I do the Advnced Versions and it's closer to 40 minutes. It's honestly become oppressive having to schedule NuFace time. I'm really drawn to cutting the time in half with the EGG.

It has poor reviews on HSN but a lot are because of the defective battery or receiving a used unit (I'd be grossed out too). I ordered the No No which has even more dismal reviews, and I LOVE it -- so it's the old "you have to see if it works for you". I'm really hoping I'm happy with the EGG.
