I have the foundation he presented last time and like it very much. He brought in more shades as the first time around, all were too dark. That one is pretty full coverage so this new one must be really heavy coverage.

His foundation is my all-time favorite. I use only a very tiny amount on moisturized skin. The foundation looks scary dark orange in the jar, but it looks good on the skin. I use the fair shade. I apply the foundation with a sponge. I hate the brush that comes with it. Because such an incredibly small amount of foundation is needed, the jar will last me a very, very long time, which is good because it is crazy expensive.

I'd like to see him bring more items to QVC.

My impression from the presentation is this is more of a concealer. I am close to tempted. This grabbed my attention.

After watching a little more I'd say you're right Bella. That's why he only put it underneath Maria's eyes.

I would like to see him bring color cosmetics, such as lipsticks and blush. I don't know why anyone using the foundation would need the concealer. The foundation will provide a lot of coverage if you apply it for that purpose. Initially, I used more foundation than I needed, and it looked heavy. I then learned a tiny dot will take care of the face and provide a natural looking, normal coverage. Edward certainly has beautiful skin -- at least it looks that way on my non-HD TV.

I ordered it. I use Cle de Peau and love it, but like to try new things. His foundations is excellent.

I like it because it provides coverage without looking or feeling heavy, and it takes such a small amount of foundation to do the job. Also, it is on the matte side, which I like because my skin is somewhat oily.

I own makeup, but I don't really love makeup. I especially can't stand foundations, though I have many. They make me feel smothered; they don't last throughout the day; they are too heavy or too light (why wear a foundation that provides no coverage at all?), etc. Edward Bess has resolved my foundation issues. It is long-lasting and looks/feels light while providing some coverage.

The real test of the EB foundation will be summer in the south. I generally just don't bother with makeup during the warm months, which can start as early as April or May and run through October. The heat and humidity can dissolve foundation in the 30-second walk from my front door to the car.

ETA: I wore assorted Tarte foundations before finding EB.

Thank you for the review! What color(s) did you wear in the Tarte? And I don't envy you the summers in the South. I lived in Nashville for a few years and literally thought I would die from the heat.

Bella, I think my In laws are in denial. They think that Atlanta doesn't get "too" hot. We keep telling them they don't call it "hotlanta" for nothing!
