Now why couldn't Shawn do this beauty show? It is her time spot. Like someone said L. Roberston it taking over . It is getting to be to much.

Yes. That is how it works.

All the hosts line up before a show and have to duke it out to see who gets in front of the cameras first. In QVC parlance it is called ""The Takeover"". Only the strongest and fastest survive when it is time for Tuesday Night Beauty.

Lisa has been working out with a Fight Club trainer. That is why she's been on a lot of shows recently.

I was going to start a thread about What happened on Tuesday Night Beauty - where is Shawn!!

No need to... I turned on QVC for the 1st time since yesterday early, I do not watch Monday night beauty and LR.

I was so looking forward to seeing Shawn on Tuesday night Beauty but when I turned it on who did I see

"Miss Batty eyes" herself - boom - QVC was turned off until Anything Goes... Another 2 hours of money saved.

Miss Queen Bee has never been on Tuesdays - what the heck is QVC doing? Trying to turn away customers?

I personally do not care for Shawn and I hope Lisa continues to do it. Shawn's make up never looks stunning or even that great plus she won't wear lip color. She is the LAST person who should have a show promoting makeup/beauty products!! I would not watch it and certainly would never take beauty advice from her!! JMO

I wonder if they have bosses who make the decisions about who does what shows when, like most every other workplace in the world. That would make more sense than believing that the hosts just decide when they will and will not work. I mean, if you want to think about it logically. Just saying.

beauty.

One must look the part to sell those expensive products.

This is re-donk-ulous. Shawn probably couldn't do the show and Lisa knows the beauty products like the back of her hand - and was available. If David Venable has to call out, I don't think Lisa would be first choice - although I know she has done some cooking shows in the past - it's not necessarily something she is up on (all of the product details). But you know, that's an idea - getting hosts out of their comfort zones. It would be great fun to see Dan Wheeler or David work with Denim and Co. or Quacker Factory QVC UK has men sell women's clothing lines. I once saw Lisa selling the Little Giant ladder - she was wearing workboots and non-fashion jeans.
