Do physical sunscreens tend to be more drying+++

I have been using Clinique SCB spf 40 and after a few hours, my face starts to feel really dry, like the moisture is just s ucked out . I use Mario Badescu control cream and Vanicream lite moisturizer underneath the sunscreen.

Is there another physical only sunscreen that is good for extremely sensitive, dry, rosacea skin that won't make it feel so dry.
