Bobbi Brown Nectar & Nudes Palette

Is anyone planning to buy this? I like the looks of it.

I also like the Hibiscus Pot Rouge and may buy it. Fortunately, I already own the Nectar Shimmer Brick and a couple of the gloss colors, as they are not new products.

Thoughts?

I saw the eyeshadow palette because I got email from her website. The colors look very pretty but I think I will go to the mall & see it in person before I make my decision. I really like her eyeshadows a lot but I'm not too sure about this palette because it looks like there is a lot more pinky colors & I'm usually allergic to shadows that have a pink color to them. If I do purchase it I will buy close to home so if I have a reaction to it I can take it back right away. The shimmer brick looks really pretty too along with the new lip glosses. I, like you also like the look of this but I think I will go to counter to check it out in person.

I ordered the palette and the Pot Rouge today. Neither Neiman Marcus nor Nordstrom show the palette on their web sites yet. Normally I would want to see everything in person first.

I've been thinking about the palette ever since it came out and decided it would be a good fit for me. If it doesn't meet my expectations, I can always send it back.

colors are very pretty but too warm toned for me; ordered Natural BB bronzer and Baby Pink lipstick.

I'll get the pot rouge, but I'm waiting on a free shipping code or to be able to order elsewhere with free ship. They have it at Barney's, but it won't ship for another month. I "need" it sooner than that! Lol!!

The nectar SB is old, but mine was a goner, so ordered that, the new ES pallet, new hibiscus blush and an eyeliner (gel). I order often from BB and never have paid shipping. I would have picked up at Nordy's but they don't have yet. Looking forward to the colors for a Vaca get away in March and April. Enjoy ladies!

I received the Nectar and Nude palette yesterday. Love the colors. Very soft and wearable colors.

For those who ordered the Pot rouge, will you please report back when you get it, and give us a better description of the color and how it wears. I have probably 10 different shades (some LE or discontinued), but I think the color closest to it that I have would be Calypso Coral. And I don't know that they are that similar. I had all of these stashed and pulled them out this winter, and I've fallen in love with them all over again! TIA!!

I was looking at this, but again, this palette has a sparkle shadow in it. I refuse to buy any of her palettes with sparkle shadows, I do not use them, or like them on me and it is a waste for me and I won't use those shades that are sparkle shades.

She puts those sparkle shades now in every palette she does, and I just won't buy them.

The pot rouge looks very nice, I may pick that one up. I have one of her nectar powder blushes and it's very pretty. Just a very nice coral, pretty for spring and summer.

The package arrived so quickly, ordered Tuesday PM! I didn't try the shadows, will play on weekend with those. Very pretty ES, yes there is some sparkle, but even on my mid-50 eyes, I don't want all flat tones. The blush is really pretty, and different than the calypso coral I have. I know the new gel liner will be pretty, but as I said play win the eyes this weekend. I have had the SB nectar when it was previously introduced, but mine was at pan, so ordered the new one. I'm a green eyed, copper red light/medium olive tone and know these will look great!

The Nectar & Nudes palette is very pretty and the sparkle and metallic shadows are more subtle than I thought they would be, and that's perfectly fine. I put a light application on my lids only (over Shore cream shadow) and I can hardly see any sparkles. I love the light cream "base" shade and the two matte shades and will get a lot of use from them.

I paired Chocolate Shimmer Ink gel liner on the bottom lashes and Espresso gel liner on the top lashes with my new eye look.

The Pot Rouge shade in Hibiscus is bright and is a red-orange color. Normally I put a light application of Pot Rouge on and then put a little powder blush or Shimmer Brick on top, but I didn't need to this time. I toned down the Hibiscus with a little mineral foundation and it looked fine. I just need to use a lighter hand next time. The shade does brighten my face and I think it complements the new eye shadow palette well.

Any other reviews?
