Why doesn't Perricone himself appear on QVC

My question is, all of the other top skincare brands have the person whose name is on the product appear - at least on day their is a TSV, why not Perricone?

I know, right!! I've been asking myself that for years....he's only been on there once out of all the time he's been selling on the Q. I realize he runs a business....but so does Dr. Denese....so does Dr. Anna and other busy people, but they manage to make time to appear now and then. Personally, I won't buy a God blessed thing from Dr. Perricone...if he can't find the time to come on every once in a while to SHOW the customers that he appreciates them, he sure isn't gonna get my money!!!

I doubt he stays busier than Joan Rivers and she's got to be going on eighty darn years old, but she manages to go on the air!!! He should be ashamed of himself.

I also don't recall them showing before and after photos of how his products work. Every other skin care vendor shows actual photos. I guess everyone is supposed to take his word on how great his products are without having to show results. I, for one, won't buy any of his products.

Not everyone is comfortable doing what vendors do. Maybe he's among those who aren't and simply thinks a spokes-model makes more sense. They've had him on video discussing his products...

Whether he or any other head of company presents their products is of no real importance. That doesn't make the products automatically horrible. Don Aslet for one never presents his own products either but I've never heard anyone say they wouldn't purchase anything. Women are still flocking to buy BE in spite of Leslie not presenting her line anymore.

To me it says he doesn't want to inconvenience his patients or halt his research when he has someone who can present his products probably even better than he ever could. Dana believes in his products and it's obvious that she is not just there for the money and that says way more to me than having Dr Perricone himself there. He probably has many more irons in the fire than the others also. I use a few of his products and they are by far much better than any other products I've ever tried.

Joan Rivers is very controlling and wants to be front and center because she's a publicity hound which is her choice but then so many complain about her when she's on so it would be better for her to stay home anyway. Dr Denesse and some of the others probably don't see as many patients because she does the presenting plus they are all younger and while I don't know her or the others that present their products in person, I would tend to think they wouldn't trust anyone else to present their products. It doesn't matter - if I want to try a product I will buy it regardless of who is presenting it.

Those that use his products and believe in him can make all of the excuses they want to make. They have a right to say and believe it. However, I also have a right to feel that if he wants my money, I want to see him. I want him, not Dana, to tell me why I should choose his product over someone else's product.

I've seen the infomercials on TV. They introduce Dana and talk about how she asked to represent him. You know the bla! bla! (we've heard it on QVC).

I will never buy any of his products as long as he doesn't come on QVC and tell us why his is the best.

From the beginning it has always been obvious that Dr. Denese is uncomfortable in front of the TV camera. She studders, she flinches and so on. Yet she comes on QVC and talks about her product. I respect that.

I use all of her products. They aren't cheap. I believe in them. One reason I believe in them (other than the fact I can see how they work) because she believes in them and comes on TV to talk to me.

When I can't sleep, I often see him on Infomercials. I guess he chooses where to be seen.

I've seen him talking, but he usually turns it over to Dana. I have never seen him talk for long periods of time.

Perkup have you seen him talking for say 1/2 hour or 1 hour the entire time? In the shows I've seen he isn't on air very long. I've seen magazine articles where actresses have said they use some of his products. It isn't an infomercial. They are just talking about their face.

An infomercial is tapped and played over and over so it's a one time shot and takes less time out of someone's really busy life and can be shot where he's at.

From what I've read about him he does more than see a bunch of rich women like most of the others do and is involved in many more projects also.

Dr Denesse looks like she has had facial surgery and is very stiff faced which does not bode well for her pitching her products and having a rep would probably be better but I do swear by her facial firming pads and hydroshield in spite of it.

It's everyone's choice to buy and use what they want for whatever reasons but some of the reasons I see on these boards are really lame and short sighted like cutting your nose off to spite your face.

Then what would Dana do? I don't think he's shy at all, as I've seen him do many live audience health and beauty seminars. I believe he just chooses not to appear on QVC and turn the gig over to Dana.

IMO, the rep, Dana, does him no favor with her totally un-made-up face. It always looks red and irritated. Standing next to the beautiful Sandra certainly didn't help last night.

Because,,, QVC doesn't shoot with filtered cameras...

With HDTV,, everything shows and you'd see too much of what he really looks like.

I've seen him in Ct (where his business is),,,,trust me,,he is smart to stay away from cameras.

I've wondered about that as well, Meryl. It doesn't make a difference to me, though, because I find his products too expensive. If they're as effective as advertised, that's wonderful for those who can afford them, but I abstain. I think Dana does a pretty good job, although I haven't watched her much because I don't buy his products.

I would assume because he does not have to and no body really cares. I don't use his products, but I am assuming that all of the people that are complaining do no use them as well.
