QVC vs. HSN OT

I don't need a response to this. Just something I wanted you ladies to know. I placed an order on QVC and HSN on the same day. Actually QVC was a few hours before HSN. Anyway I got the HSN order today. The QVC order is still in process. What's up with that? The HSN order was Korres so I guess it is kind of beauty banter material.

I ALWAYS get HSN orders faster - not even a close comparison and the interesting part of it is often the HSN things come w/ free shipping

It's just the opposite for me. I can order something on QVC and get it the next day. HSN always takes a little (not a lot but a definite difference) longer.

Speaking of HSN, they are having a huge sale right now. When they have a sale they have a sale. Things are as much as 70% off and the shipping in really good too.

its been a toss up with my orders...from both places....some come faster then others...no rhyme or reason....

same goes for returns....

the only noticeable difference, that I see, is QVC jewelry takes forever to arrive and return...then anything else I order from the Q.....

Love Korres. Love their body gel.... smells amazing. Waiting for them to offer free S&H and at lower pricing so I can stock up.

I do notice that HSN ships the quickest. 2nd in line is ShopHQ. The slowest (sooo far along the line of other vendors, shopping channels and sites), the Q takes the prize.

I always get things faster from HSN than from QVC. HSN's processing time is usually less than QVC. The fastest shipper, to me, is Amazon and Zappos.

Susan I LOVE Korres too! You just missed a bunch of free shipping Korres items on the 24 hour of Beauty Event they had, last week was it? I skipped it only because I still have enough to tide me over for now. I'll wait for the next time they offer Korres with free shipping.

I agree, I usually get HSN items more quickly than QVC. QVC shows it's processing for DAYS and usually takes over a week to get to me. It's torture if I'm waiting for something to arrive, and it's sitting there "processing" but never updating for days...

However some HSN items do take their time as well, I think it depends on where it's shipping out of, who knows.

I just know I'm impatient if it doesn't ship right away, and often I lose interest and would rather just cancel, but when it's stuck in limbo and you cannot change anything it's really frustrating!

I forgot about Zappos.com! Yes, they are very fast. If you place your order before 3pm EST, you'll receive your order the next business day, otherwise, a day later. If you're their VIP member, you'll get your order the next day, regardless.

Guess I missed the boat! Good thing, I purchased plenty of their shower gel couple of months ago. I need to get on the Korres e-mail list..... don't know if they have such a feature on HSN.... will check out the site. )

Yes you can click the Heart on each product, and the brand itself. I can't remember if that signs you up for reminders, or if you have to actually sign up for show reminders for the brand. But clicking the heart will give you "My Alerts" on items when the price goes up or down, or is almost sold out. You have to go to the website to see "My Alerts" at the top of the page if you didn't know...

I think that it depends on the product. I have ordered things from both Qvc and Hsn one day and received it either the next day or 2-3 days after I ordered it. Other products have taken longer. I have found (especially with beauty products) that if they are shipped directly from the manufacture that they always take longer then if they were sent from the warehouse.

I get my orders from HSN faster and the returns processed quicker then QVC. Don't know why -- just do.

Yes. On qvc I just saw a "sale" price "last day at this price" and the savings was $2.64 and the s/h was still high.

Yes HSN's return process is usually very fast as well. Also it lets you know that the label was scanned if you use their return label, so you know it's on it's way back to HSN.

I actually had never noticed since the shipments seem to come quickly from both HSN and QVC. I did notice, however, that ShopHQ (ShopNBC) is very slow with shipping. They sent me a survey and I commented on the slow shipping (up to 2 weeks) and the last order came faster. I've heard pros and cons about QVC and HSN -I do agree that HSN has great sales, but I still love some of the QVC products.
