Just curious about what other QVC products you all would recommend besides Wen products?? I always enjoy hearing about what products everyone else enjoys. I'll start. I love Mally Volumizing mascara. It is the best mascara ever! I also recommend the Emjoi Micropedi. In my opinion, it works better than a pedicure for getting my feet looking great. What do you recommend??

Hi Hilary! The bulk of my beauty purchases from QVC are (of course) WEN. But I also use Philosophy Purity as my cleanser and purchase that as well. Purity is amazing! I've been using it for years and have no need to wear makeup on a daily basis. Makeup optional definitely describes my skin. By the way, I'm 41 ! Anything Philosophy Amazing Grace usually ends up in my cart, too! The body butter is heaven!!! I also purchased Laura Geller's Colors of Love two piece set which includes the lip crayon & blush/highlighter. That's a really awesome set as well that I would definitely get again!

My personal purchases from QV are limited to beauty products and I totally agree about the Emjoi Micro pedi.

I don't buy this from the Q but QVC carries it- the Kevyn Aucoin volumizing mascara (a tube type mascara).

Ooooh, my SIL bought me a humidifier for Christmas, a super cute leopard pattern one and I LOVE it. She told me the other day she got it from QVC!! I couldn't believe it because she doesn't really shop at QVC but wanted to get me one with some animal print and found this one. It has high ratings on it and it is really awesome.

That is about all I can think of that I'd recommend from products that QVC carries.

Hilary, thank you for yet another great thread!!! I'm always interested to hear what other people in this forum have had success with at QVC. I just used my emjoi micropedi before I came online Ok, here are my QVC faves...

* Emjoi Micropedi -- the more expensive rechargable one (it's worth it in the long run). The emjoi seems to be on TSV every 3-4 months. The rechargable one was a TSV last June I think, so maybe it will a TSV again this summer.

* Clarisonic - face and body. The Clarisonic has really helped keep my face in good shape. Also, it's brushing action has really reduced the appearance of my under eye circles.

I've loved just about every Josie Maran product I've tried. The argan balm is one of my favorites I use it every day. I didn't like her hair oil treatment at all, but I love her body oils on my hair. Love the body butter and hand cream too and the argan milk.

Well, besides Wen, I like:

Tarte - just about all of their products. Love Lip Surgence, AC foundation, the new Mattenificent palette, blushes, foundation and the new brow gel

Mally - really like the TSV she had around Christmas - love the eye palettes, glosses, mascara and the liners that came in it

BE - I'll get only the exclusives now and they really have to call my name

Emjoi Micropedi - Oh my, I will NEVER be without this tool! My feet feel so much better with it which reminds me, I need to use it tonight

Emjoi eRase - this is the epilator that was their TSV around Christmas. It hurt at first but I haven't had to shave my legs since Christmas and it hardly hurts when I use it now.

Orthaheels - love these!! I just got the new tennis shoes that were the TSV in early Jan. They really feel good on my feet.

Ryka - another favorite brand of shoes from the Q!

Birkenstock - These are my go-to shoes in the summer. Most of the pairs I own have come from the Q since they have really good prices on them (even with the horrid shipping)

Bethlehem Lights - the pre-lit wreath, garland and swag

My newest loves which I just found over Christmas:

Malden Mills Polar Fleece sheets!! These are the best sheets ever!! I was given a pair for Christmas and then found another set at the QVC outlet in Mebane, NC last Friday. I would up getting the set for $23.10!!!

Berkshire Blankets Fluffie throws and the Velvet blanket - those were also gotten over Christmas and my puppy sleeps with her Fluffie throw every night in our bed.

Josie Maran products for sure! Love her Matchmaker foundation, cheek gelees, argan milk, argan oil, all fab! Also really like Mally's eyeshadows, eyeliners and mascara. I also love a few philosophy products - Purity and the Microdelivery Peel - the 2 step vitamin C peel - it's awesome! And I can't be without my Clarisonic...the Q really has almost everything I need for beauty :-)

Thanks HappyDaze! Does your humidifier have the tube thing on the top that sticks up? I think I have seen that one on QVC before.

Thanks! I agree, Josie M. has lots of great products. I think her Argan oil is my favorite that she carries.

I also like the Emjoi. I love Hydroshield. I just ordered 2 of the Auto delivery of Dr. Denese's TSV that's coming up on Valentine's Day. It's a really good deal. I kinda feel like Carolyn (I heard her say she just about had all of the Denim & Co jean jackets), I have a lot of them, I like those.

I like Laura Geller's liquid makeup. I think I have some of everyone's but her's really does cover up. It's good.

There's just too much stuff to order.

I second everyone's recommendations for:

1) Malden Mills fleece sheets: I tricked my mom into getting them for me and I love them!!!

2) Josie: I LOVE her hand cream, infinity creamy oil, nail polish remover wipes, and balm. I don't like the body butter and argan oil can be found elsewhere for much more reasonable prices.

3) The Emjoi foot thingy is amazing.

And I also like:

4) Genie bras: The QVC ones are stretchier than the ones I bought at Target even though it's the same brand.

5) I love those SkinnyTees that Shawn always sells. They're actually tanktops and camis, not T-shirts. Much like the Genie bras, I think people either absolutely love them or absolutely hate them!

Hilary,

My Clarisonic has been a great investment. They seem to have a Clarisonic TSV every 3-4 months. They add a number of extras to the Clarisonic, so it may he worth it to wait for the next TSV.

Some of the ways my Clarisonic has benefited my face include:

* in one use, my pore size (especially on my nose) diminished. This is because the Clarisonic gently exfoliates those pores and, thus, allows them to shrink in size naturally. I couldn't believe the results. I just kept looking at my face over and over again in the mirror. -- It reminds me of when I first started cleansing my hair with Wen. My hair became so soft that I couldn't stop touching it for 3-4 months.

* Within a few uses, I noticed a gentle reduction of facial lines. I think this may have something to do with its gentle facial stimulation (maybe along the lines of what a NuFace or DermaWand would do, thought less pronounced).

* My face has more of a glow to it. It looks healthier. I'm guessing this is because the skin can now breathe more easily (because it was cleaner), as well as because of the microcirculation.

* It has reduced my raccoon eyes. My mother, my sister and I all bruise very easily (probably due to genetically weaker blood vessels). So, in my case, the blood vessels around my eyes leak a bit which leads to these prominent under eye circles. Using my Clarisonic has helped to significantly reduce these under eye circles. I think the Clarisonic helps to stimulate lymph drainage in the under eye area which helps to more this pool of excess blood out of the under eye area. -- My thread below has more information about what has helped reduce my under eye circles.

Over the years, I have tried a number of products formulated to reduce dark circles and none of them did much good.

Dark under eye circles were just in my genes because I had them as a small child. Also, My mother, my sister and I all bruise very easily. My mother's bruising is the most extreme. if someone grabs her arm too tightly, her arm will be bruised the following morning.

About 6-7 years ago I became more interested in a healthy lifestyle, healthy eating and nutrition. Several specific changes/additions that I made have cumulatively reduced the appearance of my under eye circles in a major way. These particular changes helped increase my blood circularion and/or improve the tone of my blood vessels. Over time, I noticed that these changes also reduced the bruising on my body in a major way by 50-75% (less severe bruising & much quicker healing time). And they reduced the prominence of my under eye circles by 80-90%. I've listed these items below:

1) Green Vegetables - especially dark leafy green vegetables(e.g. kale, swiss chard, mustard greens, bok choi, collard greens, etc.). I had been eating a Paleolithic Diet for years before it became popular (mainly, greens, nuts, seeds, and a moderate amount of eggs/beef/chikcken that is grass fed, not grain fed). I also blend green smoothies (kale, cucumber, celery, green apple, pineapple, lemon, & ginger) using a Vitamix. A Vitamix breaks down vegetable cells walls to release the cells' important nutrients including Vitamin K. Dark green leafy vegetables are the best easy source of Vitamin K. Vitamin K acts as a mild blood thinner which, in turn, allows your blood to circulate more freely through your veins and capillaries. -- Note: If you are on a blood thinner medication (such as Warfarin), you talk with your doctor about this, otherwise there shouldn't be an issue.

2) Diosmin - This is a product which has been extensively researched in Europe for over 40 years. It's primary effect is to increase blood circulation throughout the body. It is especially effective for people who have to be on their feet for long periods of time (nurses, store clerks, etc.). By effectively moving blood through the circulatory system, it helps people's ankles and calves from swelling. The diosmin helps to tone the blood vessels. I use Procaps Labs Circulation & Vein SUpport by Andrew Lessman because they have the very best supplements I have found (the largest sizes provide the best values). I saw improvements over a period of a few months.

3) Glucosamine Sulfate (1,500 gm/day) and Condroitin Sulfate(1,200 mg/day). Make sure you buy the Sulfate forms of both of these minerals because the cheaper HydroChloride form is ineffective. While these supplements are frequently used for relief from achy joints, they also help make the blood vessels stronger and less leaky. I used them for 5 months before I the maximum improvement from these supplements. I use Procaps Labs supplements by Andrew Lessman because they are the very best I have found (the largest sizes provide the best values).

4) Silicon & Biotin - in the Procaps Labs product Healthy Hair, Skin & Nails. While this didn't specifically help my under eye circles, this product really provides the basic nutrients for overall healthy skin.

5) Clarisonic - The results were totally unexpected but made sense. Literally a day or two after using my Clarisonic, I noticed an improvement in my under eye circles. As I continued to use it I noticed additional improvements. It makes sense because the Clarisonic would be improving under eye blood vessel and lymphatic circulation.

Seems like everyone likes the Emjoi Micropedi - ME TOO!! I also like my Emjoi Emagine - I've been using it on my peach fuzz for several months now and there's actually fewer hairs growing back.

Purity & microdelivery, although I only use Purity now when I take off my makeup - use BGT or 613 the rest of the time.

Wow bebe! This is a lot of great info. You should totally sell these things. I am going to get one at the next tsv. I really need something to help with pore size and clogged pores.

I like alot of stuff from Philosophy...and of course Peter Thomas Roth.

I really have loved all the diamonique jewelry I bought here too. It sparkles and shines and I really like wearing it--I don't care if people know it's real or fake.lol Plus, every necklace I bought has come with higher quality chains than ones I've bought from actual expensive jewelers.

I love Q electronics too! TV's, chargers, blue-ray thingies...I'm a Halo-charger junkie now--can't go anywhere without it.lol
