Anybody use Tom Ford Makeup?

I am specifically interested in the foundation. Also am considering blush and eye palettes. Would love to hear if you have used it and whether you think it's worth the money.

My daughter bought me this palette for Christmas.

The quality and pigmentation is top notch...no fall out at all. I want more. Worth every penny and the shadows are huge and will last a long time.

Thanks, croemer! Yes, I also have my eye on that first eye palette you are showing. Bottom one looks nice too! I guess all I can do is try it, send it back if I don't like it. Very spendy so have to just try one thing at a time.

Well Nordstrom's has free shipping both ways.

I've looked at them in stores and the reviews are always good, but I don't want to spend that much money because I usually don't wear makeup. The Cafe Makeup blog does a lot of detailed Tom Ford reviews with good swatches: Link to Tom Ford reviews on Cafe Makeup.

Yes, I have dabbled in this line. I have frantic pink blush, the illuminating primer, a lipstick, the double ended liner the eyebrow pencil and the eyeshadow primer.

Are they nice? Yes... Top notch customer service at my counter and they make you feel like a princess while you are there. Do I think they are worth their price tag? NO.. Would I re-purchase.. A couple of products... yes.

The one product that I would purchase in the future is their bronzer (It's huge and the color is really beautiful and the lipsticks have a beautiful formula.

I recommend you experience them in person, do you have a Neiman's near you?

OH..and don't forget about the fragrance line... I have never smelled anything like it's AMAZING... but the price tag is extremely high. They are generous with the samples though.

I've passed the counter many times at Neiman's and the presentation of his line is gorgeous. I have a friend who uses his line and she raves about it, and frankly she looks lovely. We all have our particular splurges, enjoy yours!

Thanks, everyone! There is a Neiman's near me but they don't carry it. Will probably order from Nordstrom and can return easily if there's a problem.

I purchased one of his lipsticks a few weeks ago. I am saving it for the warmer weather because it is a coral shade. It looks beautiful in the tube. A friend of mine has tried the shadows and has raved about them. I did buy his primer which is too pricey and will not purchase that again. It is nice but too much for a primer.

Tom Ford cosmetics has recently come to my Neiman Marcus store. I bought the lipstick in Spanish Pink and love it. It's a very creamy formula. I also checked out the eyeshadows. At $78 for a quad I passed it up. Chanel and Cle de Peau are just as nice and not as expensive.

It is a bit too expensive for me. I remember that I purchased four items and that was about $200. I took them home and back the next day. Tom Ford is even more expensive than Armani. But, the make up looks great. I might try again, but I just could not justify a blush, mascara and a couple of lipsticks for over $200.00. Maybe later.

Tom Ford is one of my favorite cosmetic lines. I love his blushes best. But there little in his collection that I don't like. The stick foundation is great, the Shade & Illuminate is an amazing contour/highlighter, the powder compact is lightweight and lovely, great long lasting eye primer,lovely eye shadow palettes, and great lipsticks and glosses. But best of all are the makeup brushes. They so very soft! They perform extremely well and are easy to clean.

I suggest that you try them in person. If you do nothing else, play with the brushes.

I would love this one. I haven't tried this brand yet but have heard great things about it but it's just too pricy for me. If I didn't have so much mu maybe then but.....

I SO wanted to love his line but, alas, they simply don't work for me. Could not find one lipstick that looked good on; foundations and powders run too dark for my coloring and the shimmer in many (not all) of his palettes turn me off not to mention that most of his palettes run warm in coloring or are shades that don't flatter my coloring. The feel and quality are excellent so if the colors work for you, go for it! : )
