Welcome to the club! Over the past 6 months I needed to update/replace my aging collection of beat down brushes. I've pretty much replaced everything with Elf Studio line and Real Techniques.

When it comes to the Elf brushes I've been amazed at the quality and performance for $3-$6 bucks. Now, I don't want you to break the bank, but if you can spare the $6 , that kabuki brush is awesome!

But for those who have never used the small steeple blush brush...wow what a difference it makes when applying blush. I have been reading bloggers and Youtube video's about the "elf" small steeple blush and decided...wt..hay for 3 bucks what can I lose? I am in love with this blush brush...do yourself a favor if you have not given it a try.

Well worth the investment of $18!

FWIW, the Studio brushes are definitely a step up from the Essentials. Nice brushes for a buck, but not the quality of the Studio brush.

I like that you can try all this stuff for very little money and if it doesn't work for you, you really aren't out too much.

It was so long ago.

Mine is larger though and I use it for loose mineral blush, not cream. I love my skunk brush!

Check out Real Technique brushes too .......... they have sets on Amazon for great prices and I think they might even have an entire stippling set. Last time I checked they offered a pretty decent selection of sets as well as individual brushes~

Nice quality for very reasonable pricing. Ulta might also carry them - I don't go into Ulta much but thought I saw some there the last time I shopped there. Amazon pricing might be better however.

I think you mean stipple brush. Stippling is an artist technique, shading by using small dots. I always use a brush in applying cream or powder blush. I've never stippled on blush, though. Won't hurt to try it! But if I do, I will need a flat head brush.

I looked for one of these in Wal-Mart today. They did carry several of the E.L.F. brushes but didn't have this one. I do have some E.L.F. brushes and find them to be good quality. I have never used a stipple brush and am very curious to try one. I am going to check Target the next time I go to see if they have it.

Stippling is an artist technique, shading by using small dots. I always use a brush in applying cream or powder blush. I've never stippled on blush, though. Won't hurt to try it! But if I do, I will need a flat head brush.

You are so right...I do not know what I was thinking...it is stipple...grrr TY!

Ladies Uta may have it as well. I like the elf site if you have a problem finding one.

Last time I checked they offered a pretty decent selection of sets as well as individual brushes~

Nice quality for very reasonable pricing. Ulta might also carry them - I don't go into Ulta much but thought I saw some there the last time I shopped there. Amazon pricing might be better however.

Hi wackers, elf also have a whole line(set) of stipple brushes as well.

Now I don't remember when or where that was. It was so long ago.

Mine is larger though and I use it for loose mineral blush, not cream. I love my skunk brush!

I think Mac calls their #188 a skunk brush. I got one about a week ago and love it. My cream blush has never looked this good.
