This is what I did--I lost all my hair to chemo treatment. When I was done with that nonsense I started taking 5000mg of biotin--2 caps a day (for a total of 10,000mg) The biotin is not expensive and may take a few months to be noticed. It will help her skin and nails too. I used the OJON line including a weekly hair mask with the restorative hair treatment (the brown balm) and a few drops of the damage reverse hair serum. I would put that on my bald head and wrap a warm towel around it for about 20 and then wash it off in the shower. I did that routine until my hair grew back. I still add a few drops of the serum to my conditioner now. And getting as much damage off now as possible is a good idea too. My hair is at my pre-cancer zombie length now and doing well. Please congratulate her on her weight loss--what an incredible accomplishment !!

Hey guys, My daughter is getting married in 10 months and her hair looks like it has seen better days. She recently lost 120 lbs and now her hair is like straw, breaking, falling out, etc. I think she needs to chop off the layers and start some type of conditioning routine. She occasionally uses my Ojon or Wen products but not faithfully. I think major changes need to take place and she agreed to listen to you. Please help! Thanks in advance!

First of all congratulations on the upcoming wedding to mother and daughter! You should take your daughter to a reputable experienced hairdresser who can evaluate your daughter's hair condition and get her started on a regime to get her hair in great shape for the wedding. Someone who can actually look at and touch her hair. I don't think asking for advice from a board full of strangers however well intentioned who cannot even see your daughter or her hair is the right thing to do.
