Rose Scented Perfume

I love rose perfume, well...most rose perfumes. I have been wearing Annick Goutal's Rose Absolue. It was a gift and I can't afford to buy another bottle. Do any of you wear rose perfumes? If so, do you have any favorites or recommendations?

I would appreciate any suggestions you have. Thank you!

I second this suggestion. While I love the smell of roses, I never found a rose perfume/cologne that I liked until this one.

I love the smell of roses but have never ever liked any smell of roses in perfume or cologne. Then one day I got a sample of Inis Arose. Had no intentions of trying it. Well, I put it on one day and then had to go to the store. Got a compliment from a stranger. Then wore it to work. Got 2 compliments in one week. Then hubby makes a comment about how good I smell. (OK, it was time to buy a full size bottle.) Then a new male employee starts working at our office. He asks what I'm wearing, says it smells great.

This is a cross between a clean smell and a rose smell. I guess it works well with my body chemistry. BTW, I got it for a great price on Amazon. I hope you find the rose fragrance that works well for you.

I have been wearing rose scented perfumes for over 40 years now, and I think the most true to a beautiful tea rose scent is Caswell Massey's line! Love love love! In the spring, I wear their Lilly of the Valley and Lilac scents too! Love their scented powders too! You can Google for suppliers.Sorry, I can't remember the name of the company that I've ordered from right at the moment! Fibro fog strikes again! Lol!

Clearly rose lovers think alike. I wear ""Stella"" in the winter - I've gotten many compliments on it. I have the L'Occitane Rose 4 Reines hand cream on my desk right now.

Check out ""Tea Rose"" ... I've seen it at Walgreen. A little goes a long way.

Although I love roses (and used to like rosewater and glycerin), I generally don't care for rose-scented perfumes. There was one from years ago, though, a drugstore perfume, that I did like. I can't recall the name, but I'd recognize it.

Inis "Arose" is beautiful! It's very light and clean - not strong and old ladyish. I like Stella, but it's a little strong for me. I think they might even sell the Inis fragrances here on the Q? I bought mine at a little Irish shop.

Paris /YSL comes in several incarnations and is a lovely rose. I love Stella so of course it's discontinued. The more recent Chloe is rosy and Boucheron femme is a great violet rose that's very fresh smelling.

I've read that the scent is one of Oprah's favorites.

I second this one! I'm not usually a rose girl, but I got some Arose in an Inis trial set, and it has become my favorite!

I love rose and I vote for Jo Malone Red Roses and The YSL Paris rose.If money is a problem I suggest you go to a Health food store (like Whole Foods) and check out the essential oil section.
