Did Q sent you an email and advise you the card you had on file had expired ? I have had that scenario before.

Something is missing here. Everyone has had their card eventually expire, you just get a notice to update your card information.

are you sure if you just don' just put in the new expiration date it will reactivate and it is the old account that is closed? Also, did you contact customer service and check your spam mail? That's where mine ended up not sure why.

Also, no matter where you have an account if your expiration date is expired your account is "technically" closed.

I got an email once that my card on file had expired. I had changed it on the main account, but didn't go into every easy pay item still active or the auto delivery items. It doesn't update current stuff, only future stuff when you change your card.

They then called me as well and the rep did them all for me over the phone.

No threats of cancelling my account.

Once I purchased a ring on easy pay. Not an expensive ring, but monthly payments were to be taken out of my checking account.

I received the ring, it was too small and I sent it back to exchange for a larger size. Meanwhile, my first payment had been taken out of my checking account.

After a few days, I went into my account to make sure the ring had made it back to QVC and the exchange was in process.

Lo and Behold, my account showed that the ring had been returned and a credit issued.

My debit card had expired, and although the bank had sent me a new card, I never thought to check the expiration date on my QVC purchase. Same card number, just the expiration date.

I never received an e mail making an effort to continue the transaction. They just accepted the ring, ignored the exchange request and went on with business as usual.

I did not re order the ring.

I have forgotten to update a card on easy pay before. When you try and order something, you will get a notice that a card has expired. I just edited the new expiration date on the card, and then finished my order.

Sorry you are having problems. I hope you can get it resolved through CS.

Then you must of waited months to pay your easy pays.Ihad this happen and they eventually will send you an email to update your card. And they give you lots of time before they will close your account.

Sounds to me like someone at the Q dropped the ball on this. My mother had a card expire and she didn't want the auto delivery and ignored it and they sent her letters for OVER a year. It's been my experience they ALWAYS send a letter in the mail.Since you're a great customer I would elevate this to corporate customer service and maybe they'll give you a little credit.

Its not a card that I use often and apparently this goes back to Sept, the card expired in Dec this is why I am so puzzled

They didn't notify me either OP....in fact, I've never been notified when a card expired and I've been shopping here for 20 years.

They didn't notify me either OP....in fact, I've never been notified when a card expired and I've been shopping here for 20 years.

So have I, I am seriously thinking of cutting way back on what I spend here. In fact some of the things I was considering returning are going back when my account is restored

I've never had an account closed because the card expired. They just ask you to choose a different card or to update your cards information.

20 yrs ago HSN did the same to me because I cancelled their HSN card and entered my own credit card and had 1 more flex payment on it,I didn't know I had.

Then recently the kicked me out because my GD (not living with me but in same building) bought something flex pay on her debit card and she didn't have funds in it in time ,so they refused to send out any orders from me who has nothing to do with her.

I couldn't believe it!!! I was so mad at HSN and my GD.I got so mad I cancelled all my A/S orders closed my account and I will never shop there again

I am shopping with QVC from day one and I have gone

through many cards.... Some of those Banking Institutions

are no longer in business...

The Bank where we do most of our banking merged and then

merged again all in one year.... We have most transactions on

"Auto" payments.. Cable, Gas, Telephone & Internet, Electricity,

Gym etc... Each time we had to get new account numbers and

notify everyone....... including QVC....
