liners and shadows. Over the years I've tried to copy everything: the smokey eye, the defined eye, the naked eye, the top-liner only eye (Stacy London), the Donna/Knot's Landing outer corner dark eye, etc., etc.

The latest thing I'm doing is lining upper and lower, using Mac Painterly on the entire lid up to the brow, then using a highlight liner to smudge along the basic brown/black liner. It's kind of like when Mally puts one of her sparkly eye liner colors above the black line, except I don't use sparkly and I don't make a line. I use a pencil - I love Flirt! Look of Love Eye Pencil in VioletEyez - it's creamy and I just press it above the dark liner. My lids naturally define the eye socket shape at the crease themselves since they sink in at the crease. I use a little of Ulta Professional Eye Highlighting Wand at the brow (it's a copy of Mally's except it's creamier and more bone than hers which is almost peach on me).

My outer eyelid looks a little droopy to me, and I couldn't find any shadow that didn't accentuate that. So I think by keeping the entire lid and crease a natural color, it doesn't add to the droop.
