Nude Pink Lipstick?!?!?!

I know this question has been touched on from time to time. I haven't seen it in a while, so I hoped maybe some fresh eyes might be able to offer some suggestions.

I want a nude pink (no shimmer) lipstick that doesn't wash me out. I see women with natural looking lovely lips that brighten their face and look so pretty. I have tried a lot of lipsticks and never hit on one that works.

I tried 2 different shades of Bobbie Brown lipsticks and realized that there is something in her lipsticks that I am allergic to. I would wear them for a day and the next day, my lips would peel so badly I could only wear chapstick.

I know there must be one out there, can any of you help me?

I have fallen in love with Suzanne Organics "HONEY GLOW" lipstick (shopHQ).

I have always applied a 'base' and use her lip balm first.

Can't use anything that is orangey. It's just healthy lip pink. Loooove it!

Best thing is, no lead in it.

Rimmel's Let's Get Naked and ELF Party Pink are two pink nudes that I use. They have no shimmer and don't wash me out. My skin is light. HTH!

Lipstick Queen Saint Pink is my go to pink. it's a semi sheer, glossy lipstick with no frost or shimmer. I'm very fair and it is natural looking on me.

Hi. I also use Suzanne Sommers Honey Glow from shopHQ. I also love her lip balm. Great basic pink without being too much and its organic so my lips do not peel or react to her ingredients.

I have tried it and if your lips are pretty pigmented its not a good color. My lips are pigmented and it makes me look like Shawn with the washed out lips. If there is a Tom Ford makeup counter near you I'd go and try it before spending. I fell in love with the color in the tube but it didn't work on me.

You made me remember that I have this. Went to look for it and actually found it. Thanks! I'm looking forward to wearing it again. Love this and Medieval. Both work on fair skin tones. Sorry, Medieval is red not pink, though.

It seems everyone is doing the nude look for spring. I don't think it's for everyone though. I just got an email from Bobbi Brown with the look on Katie Holmes and it doesn't work on her even if Bobbi did the makeup. I think it looks too washed out. it would look better on a deeper skintone I think or if she had a tan. What do you think?

Laura Mercier ""Lips"" collection has a couple that are really nice. Baby Lips is a soft nude-pink and Bare Lips is a great MLBB (my lips but better) shade.

NYC Cosmetics #312 Chiffon. I get frequent compliments when I wear it and am asked where to buy it as well. It's a light cool pink. No orange tones at all.

My suggestion would be Laura Mercier Sheer Lip Collection. Don't let the ""sheer"" fool you. The formula is just lighter in texture but creamy and wonderful. She offers a nude and a pale pink. Check it out. Nordstrom has free shipping. I know that Trish McEvoy has nudes also but I feel that she has raised her prices too high.

I love Nars' Chelsea Girls (lip lacquer). It's the BEST nude I've ever worn. Not really sure it has pink in it, but it certainly works. I'm very fair and it doesn't wash me out a bit. I've been buying it for several years now.

Check out Ulta's house brand of lipsticks in the silvertone/chrome looking tubes. They have all kinds of shades from pale nudes to deeper pigmented. They're inexpensive, but nice, and often go on sale. You can get good closeup views on the Ulta website.

And yes, Blondelle that color looks terrible on Katie. Actually, the look does not work for her.

Another poster here on QVC board recommended Lancome Pale Lip which I purchased & love. Only downfall is it's a little pricey but is lovely color. Kat

I love the Josie Maran 3 in 1 lipsticks! I have a pink color, but she also has a nude color called "Happy Honey"- it's very pretty! I have seen it on air, and that color is sold out at the local Sephora.
