Has Anyone tried Smashbox's Liquid Halo Foundation?

It sure gets great reviews!!!!! Pricey though at 42.00, so just curious if anyone has actually tried it?

I got a sample. Shades run dark. They don't have one if you are very fair. It's very sheer with a luminous finish. Love Halo, thought I'd love this. Might have but I broke out badly after trying it. You'd still need concealer and powder unless you are very dry. Ulta has it if you want to see it in person.

Well its good to know the colors run dark because I was going to order from Sephora without trying first, now I will go in person to test it out before purchasing!

Probably a good idea, returning stuff is a pain. I got a BE kit from Sephora and I really should return it, only like 2 of the 5 items - but will I, lol?

I have the new Halo foundation and I like it. I discovered it in Sephora while I was testing out foundations. I am happy that I was colored matched there. I was also given a small sample to work with for awhile. I highly recommend doing that. It is a bit pricey so I wanted to make sure that I really liked it.

Fortunately, I had Pretty Points in my account on Smashbox.com so I was able to order the foundation with $10.00 off.

If it helps, I am a medium in Laura Geller's BNB, Golden Tan in BE, C4 in Mac Face and Body, a NC43 in Mac Studio Finish powder and in the Smashbox shade, I am a 6. I hope this helps you out.

Yes, I did when it first came out. Shades run too dark. I am light and had to try out the fair and that was even dark. I have to say, I was not impressed with their line.

It seems this line is going away from QVC-not many items under Smashbox here. I will check it out at Ulta or Sephora in person-I guessed myself at an 8, so I will see how close I come!

I use it and I like it. It blends with my complexion better than anything I have had recently. Very light coverage which is what I want. Yeah, a little pricey, but it'll last me quite a long time since I normally only wear foundation once a week. I do apply a dusting of regular Halo on top.
