I've used the CC for many other needs besides cleansing and conditioning. One of those things is flyaways. My hair is fine, and when I get static in my hair I'll start with a pea size (doesn't seem to matter what scent), rub it between my fingers and rake through my hair. If I need more I'll do another but in the interest of not weighing down my hair I start tiny and build.

Can this be used as a product on dry hair to tame fly-aways or only on wet hair? Thanks - just started using WEN and still on the fence

I have never used the cc on dry hair, but you certainly could. The cc is healthy for your hair. You could try it and see if you like it.

To tame fly aways I'd use the balm or maybe the polishing gloss - if that is all you want to do with it. The CC is for cleansing and conditioning.

Just tried using the fig cc on dry hair and nope - doesn't work for me. Made it feel dry and a little smelly. The Fig smell goes away when wet , but when i put it on dry hair, it is too strong. Which do you recommend on dry hair, the repleneshing mist or conditioning cream?

If you are interested in just taming flyaways, I would suggest buying the oil. Any oil. A few drops rubbed on my hands then thru my hair really tames flyaways and gives my hair that extra shine boost.

Some ladies love the RTM for extra moisture and taming frizz/flyaways on dry hair. It's a little too heavy for my fine straight hair, the oil works much better and seems lighter (which doesn't make sense, but there you go).

Important to note - most of the oils do not have the heavy menthol smell, so the Fig oil is much better than the CC, in my opinion.

Michele

I actually use a tiny bit of CC on dry hair, my hair is super baby fine and it does not really like the styling creams or finishing cream. After I do a cool air blow dry I take a wee tiny bit, rub in hands and just finger through my hair. It controls the static, something I get a lot in winter and adds some dimension to my style.
