I tossed a Benefit roller mascara a mini size. I have bad lashes and this didn’t help. I also sorted through my giant box of makeup brushes and purged many many brushes. I give them to my sister, and what she doesn’t want, she gives to a friend of hers and her daughter. I still have plenty left!!!!!

No, I wouldn’t post bikini pictures. I value my privacy and one never knows what pictures will get shared. I have a Facebook friend who shares posts constantly. People should be cautious as some employers will check Facebook too. But then, the ones who post bikini photos probably are not going to heed any warnings.

I have a 60 year old friend who loves posting over exposed selfies and pics with glamour poses. Facebook is made for her! On the flip side, another Facebook friend posts about her every mundane happening...I found dust bunnies under the bed so I will sweep the floor...the dog likes her new leash...my son is going to a scout meeting. The bikini shots, while probably unwise, are at least not boring me to death.

, I went in once to have the battery changed because it was shutting down in the cold. They talked me out of it. Not this time. I find I am charging much more frequently with the software updates. They just want to sell me a new phone. LM

, bears stink. You can often smell them before you see them. I live in a development surrounded by woods. We see bears and coyotes on a regular basis. I don’t worry about seeing one coyote. It’s the pack you need to worry about. LM

I didn't have time for my 2 heart attacks or my 2 back surgeries, but guess what? Time found me!

I am sorry about your health problems.

And I am sorry about your friends.

I have a good friend who's dying of colon cancer and it is a horrible, horrible thing. I grieve every time I talk to her. As do all her other friends and family members.

My doctor won't order the Cologard test for patients as she claims it's not as effective at detecting colon cancer as the manufacturer claims.

Please everyone, listen to Hckynut, go in for a colonoscopy and get screened. It's a whole lot easier than possibly dying of this horrible illness.

I’ve noticed it as well. I don’t know if it is generational, regional or something else. It is not in my speech pattern. When I hear cah-un and such i don’t like it. Why? I have no idea. I know in my speaking I watch how I say words....like goin’ instead of the proper going. I attribute it to my Mom. She was southern and it was common in her family. I try to balance colloquial speech with proper speech.

With so many places to shop why would OP insist that any business change to cater to her? Why also would she watch QVC if there is nothing about it she likes - especially if her grandchildren were visiting?!!! She should be paying attention to them! I suspect the issue isn't QVC here!!

I'm in Maryland, about 10+ miles north of Baltimore....in the suburbs. We have had coyotes for several years. Our vet warned us about them.

We have a fenced in portion of our property and our larger dogs used to be able to run and play. Our current dog is only 11 pounds. She only goes out with us on a leash during the day. I can't just let her out into the yard to go to the bathroom, like I did the larger dogs. So, we pad trained her, in an area of the basement, and clean up right after she goes.

Between the coyotes, and huge hawks, and foxes, she wouldn't last 5 minutes out in the yard. Even in the fenced in portion....the fox has dug a fox hole right on the outside of the fence.

Here we go again!!! If I ever heard anyone prouncing the t in theses words as a hard t - well it would sound funny! I find it's just the way the t has aways been pronounced just about everywhere and if you say it over and over you just might find that in any real coversation that is the way you even pronounce it. The only person I only ever heard pronouncing the double t's was my Italian born grandmother.

YUP! I don't have "summer" or "winter clothing. I have simple tops and various weights of cardigans, and tank tops. In the winter, I wear a top, with a tank underneath, and a sweater on top, and then take the sweater on and off all day. In milder weather, I just wear a top and a tank. In the summer, I just wear a top. But, even in the summer, I always have a sweater handy, that goes on and off all day.

My hypothyroidism may be making this worse. But, who knows. I remember, back when I was about 53, asking my gynecologist to run a test to see if I was post-meno yet.....I had a hysterectomy years ago and only have my ovaries. She said there was no use, because I no longer got periods, and the hormonal symptoms would probably continue, to some degree, forever. UGGGGHHHHH!
