QVC’S BEAUTY NIGHT SWEEPSTAKES

OFFICIAL RULES

QVC, Inc. (“Sponsor”) is sponsoring the QVC’s Beauty Night Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes"). This Sweepstakes is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. YOU MUST BE 18 YEARS OR OLDER TO ENTER. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

By entering this Sweepstakes, you as the entrant agree to abide by all terms of these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor whose decisions shall be final and binding.

ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the United States and District of Columbia, who are 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry. Employees and agents of Sponsor, and their parents, affiliates and subsidiaries, and immediate family members (parents, children, siblings and spouses) and household members of employees and agents are not eligible. Void outside of the United States and District of Columbia, and where prohibited by law. Void in Puerto Rico. Subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations.

SWEEPSTAKES ENTRY: There are three (3) ways to enter the Sweepstakes, 1. On your mobile device via the Facebook mobile app (“Facebook”), 2. On your computer desktop or laptop via Facebook.com (“Facebook”), 3. Or by mail.

To enter the Sweepstakes on your mobile device via the Facebook app, complete the following steps:

Step 1 – Access your Facebook account on your mobile device. If you do not have an Facebook account, you can download Facebook for free in the Apple App Store on an iOS device (iPhone, iPod, iPad), http://qvc.co/1E9omJ8, or in Google Play for an Android device, http://qvc.co/1E9oYOZ. After installing Facebook, open it on your device and tap the 'Sign up' button at the bottom left of the screen to begin the account creation process.

Step 2 – Search “QVC” on Facebook and click the “LIKE” button (assuming that you are not following QVC on Facebook already).

Step 3— Leave a comment with the hashtag, #Giveaway, in the comments section of the Beauty Night Facebook Sweepstakes Post from June 22, 2018.

To enter the Sweepstakes on your computer desktop or laptop via Facebook.com, complete the following steps:

Step 1 – Access your Facebook account on your computer desktop or laptop. If you do not have a Facebook account, you can create one for free. To create a Facebook account, go to www.facebook.com/r.php. Enter your name, email or mobile phone number, password, date of birth and gender. Click Sign Up. To finish creating your account, you'll need to confirm your email or mobile phone number.

Step 2 – Search “QVC” on Facebook and click the “LIKE” button (assuming that you are not following QVC on Facebook already).

Step 3— Leave a comment with the hashtag, #Giveaway in the comments section of the Beauty Night Sweepstakes Post from June 22, 2018.

To enter the Sweepstakes by mail, send your name, address, daytime telephone number and June 22 on a standard 4 inch by 6 inch postcard addressed to QVC’s Beauty Night Sweepstakes, Studio Park, Mail Code 150, West Chester, PA 19380 (“Mail Entry”).

By submitting a Facebook Entry or Mail Entry, you are signifying that you have read, understand and agree to these Official Rules.

Limit one entry per person. Any person who attempts to participate with entries in excess of these entry limitations will be disqualified. Tagged winner will need to consent to sweepstakes rules to accept the prize. Any other attempted form of Sweepstakes entry is void. Any person who attempts to participate under multiple identities or uses any device or artifice to enter in excess of this entry limitation will be disqualified; use of programmed, automated or like means of entry is prohibited. Use of multiple physical or email addresses by the same individual to enter or multiple Facebook accounts by the same individual to enter is prohibited and such multiple entries shall be voided. Incomplete information may result in disqualification of entry. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the mobile device associated with the Facebook account of the entry, which the entrant will have the obligation to establish. No entries may be effected on behalf of someone else. All Mail Entries are the non-returnable property of Sponsor.

1. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: The Sweepstakes begins on or about Friday, June 22, 2018 at 8:00pm Eastern Time (“ET”) through 9:00am ET on Wednesday, June 27, 2018. (“Sweepstakes Period”). All Mail Entries must be postmarked by Wednesday, June 27, 2018 and received by Wednesday July 5, 2018.

2. ODDS OF WINNING: The number of eligible entries received will determine the odds of winning. All eligible entries carry an equal chance of winning.

3. WINNER NOTIFICATION: Sponsor or a representative of Sponsor shall contact Potential Winner via Facebook (Reply and/or Direct Message) or via telephone on or about Thursday, July 5, 2018. Potential Winner may be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility, liability release, and (where legal) an affidavit of publicity prior to receiving the prize. Potential Winner will have forty-eight hours from the time he/she is contacted to respond and accept the prize. Noncompliance with the time period described above will result in disqualification and an alternate winner selected. Potential Winner may be required to present proof of identification prior to claiming prize. Acceptance of any prize shall require acceptance of the terms of these Official Rules and shall grant Sponsor the right to use Winner’s first name, last name and city and state of residence for any publicity associated with this Sweepstakes.

4. SWEEPSTAKES DRAWING: A random drawing will be conducted by the Sponsor on or about Thursday, Jul 5, 2018. Sponsor may delay a drawing in its discretion.

PRIZES/APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (“ARV”): Listed below are the prizes that will be awarded in this Sweepstakes.

PRIZE: One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive a $100.00 QVC Gift Card

Total Approximate Retail Value of All Prizes: $100.00

If a Winner is unable or unwilling to accept the prize, he/she will be disqualified and the prize forfeited; in such event, an alternate Winner shall be selected from among all remaining eligible entries received. Prizes cannot be substituted or transferred by Winner. If a prize must be forfeited, Winner will not be able to exchange the prize for its cash value. Prize Winners are solely responsible for all expenses not expressly included. All taxes are the responsibility of the Winners. Winners and/or parent or legal guardian may be required to sign an IRS Form 1099, Form W-9, or the equivalent. PRIZE PROVIDED BY QVC.

1. RELEASE AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Except where prohibited by law, by entering this Sweepstakes, entrants release and hold harmless Sponsor, its owners, directors, officers, employees, attorneys, representatives, affiliates and agents, and their successors and assigns (“Released Parties”), from any and all liability or any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this Sweepstakes or acceptance or use of any prize won. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law. If any provision of these Official Rules is found by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unenforceable, all other provisions will remain in full force and effect.

2. NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ERRORS: Released Parties are not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transfer of entry information, human error, technical malfunction, lost/delayed data transmissions, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software, any changes or unavailability of the Facebook service or any combination thereof, inability to access websites, damage to a user’s computer system (hardware and/or software) due to participation in this Sweepstakes or any other problem or error that may occur, or for late, lost, inaccurate, incomplete, stolen, misdirected, mechanically reproduced, or illegible entries.

3. RIGHT TO CANCEL SWEEPSTAKES: Sponsor may, at any time and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law and in Sponsor’s sole discretion, cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Sweepstakes. The Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who attempts to interfere or tamper with the entry process. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF LAW AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW.

4. DISPUTES: Arbitration/Choice Of Law: Entrants agree that: (1) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, the Rules, the prize or the determination of the Winner, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by arbitration pursuant to the Rules of the American Arbitration Association then in effect, and (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes (if any), but in no event shall any party be entitled to attorneys’ fees; and (3) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased, and (4) entrant’s remedies are limited to a claim for money damages (if any) and entrant irrevocably waives any right to seek injunctive or equitable relief. If you live in a jurisdictions that does not allow limitations or exclusion of liability for punitive, incidental or consequential damages, then the above limitations may not apply to you. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrant and/or Released Parties in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard for its conflicts of law principles.

5. PRIVACY POLICY: The entry information provided is subject to The QVC Privacy Statement which can be found at www.qvc.com: click on the Privacy Statement link under the “Policies & Information” heading.

6. MISCELLANEOUS: The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules will not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision of the Official Rules is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, the other provisions will remain in effect and will be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. Headings are solely for convenience of reference and will not be deemed to affect in any manner the meaning or intent of the document or any provision hereof.

7. WINNER’S LIST: For the name of the prize winner, mail a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: QVC’s Beauty Night Sweepstakes MAY, QVC Studio Park, Mail Code 150, West Chester, PA 19380 no later than Thursday, July 26, 2018.

I also shop at Nordstrom, they are on sale there as well. So if Amy is sticking to her story that she designed them, then she sold them to all the department stores and boutiques in the country. Do you believe that?

Hi Amy Stran! I don't know what to say after what I read. All I know is Amy that you have a lot of Class and have a great eye for Fashion. I bought all the colors of your first earrings! They are wonderful! Don't let the negative people get you down. Just look at the places they shop Walmart and Target. What does that tell you! Some of those earrings are in those stores but the quality is not QVC. Keep up the great job you do. I am a fashion guru like you. You are the best! God Bless....

Nobody likes to picked on....it is so mean. I have more important things to do than belittle someone's design. I guess if you like the earring then putchase if not....move on. There other world problems that need to be conquered.

Dad, my first Father’s Day without you. And although my birthday doesn’t fall on it this year, I will always remember how lucky I am to have been born on such a special day.

I have sent you a lot of mushy, heart rendering Father’s Day cards over the years. This year I wanted to put it into my own words.

You gave me so much. Encouragement, support, love, strength discipline, your opinions, (and what opinions they were).

Of course as a child and a teenager, I took you for granted which is normal for those ages. What I do remember though was your determination and resilience when you lost your long time job and took whatever jobs you could to assure you would continue to provide for Mommy and I. We were never rich monetarily but I never wanted for anything and we were so rich in many other ways.

I really started to appreciate you when I got married and then divorced. You were thrilled when I got married so I would have someone to share my life with. And so disappointed when the marriage didn’t work out. But you held my hand the day I got married and held it again when it ended.

I saw a side of you when Mommy got sick. The way you cared for her, fed her, talked to her and continued to love her made the words “in sickness and in health” come alive. And when we cried together when she died, we held each other up to get through it. I thought for sure I would lose you shortly after because you and Mom were married for so long and “she was the love of your life”. But you were determined to go on and wanted to be there with me and for me. Even giving up cigarettes (cold turkey) after 60 years of smoking.

When you moved to New Jersey and then in with me, I discovered I had a friend in my Dad. We talked about mostly everything, we laughed at the TV shows, the movies, yelled at a lot of the recent stupidity we saw in our government. We went out to dinners, breakfasts and your Senior Center. At the holidays when they had a live band at the Center, I loved and had so much pride watching you dance. Boy could you dance. I took care of you when you had a couple of surgeries as you did for me when I had my hip replacement. And even though we always had a dog when I was growing up and then when I was on my own you adored and loved the current dog (Kirby) I have and he knew you as Grandpa (your legacy). How you loved and he loved when you took him for walks.

You said to me once that spending this time with me would make it harder for me once you were gone. You were right. It has been difficult. But I am so grateful and will never forget the gift we had of spending that time together. All the “stuff” of boy crazy, jobs, working, and a lot of challenges were behind us, so we had this time to get to know each other not only as a father and daughter but as friends.

Dad I want to thank you for that time and all the times before that. When we disagreed, fought, you gave me hell for something I did or didn’t do. It is out of all this, the good times and bad, your wisdom, support, strength and sensitivity and once again your opinions that have given me the ability to carry on and be the person I am today.

I love you Daddy. Happy Father’s Day and I will always be proud to call you my Dad.

My point is that she did or design these earrings, she may have had input as to what styles are brought to qvc, but she did not design them.

Amy, I'm sure you meant well, but your earrings can be found in any discount store. I hope you didn't let someone talk you into this design and that the next time, you will have more success with something truly original and all "yours".

Hello Lori:

I ordered all 5 colors of your TSV dress. I ordered 3 in XXS & 2 XS. Unfortunately, I had to return the 2 XS, too large. The XXS fitted perfectly. I'm 75 yrs young & love beautiful colors & comfort. This dress is very comfortable, especially in hot weather. I'm hoping QVC will get another supply of them so I can order the willow vine & pink. Of note, I stopped at grocery store after church wearing the teal marble & heard a woman's voice calling & running behind me. She said "I just saw this dress on TV, but didn't order it because I didn't know about the material & how it felt& looked on." She was so excited as she picked up the bottom of my dresss to feel it and said it was so pretty on you." My response was, "you would have loved wearing it & that I'm sure Lori will offer it again", The dress was a great success. I only wear dresses/skirts, hardly ever pants/jeans. Keep dresses coming.

Amy your earrings are a dime a dozen at Walmart and Target. Why would you do something like this and think no one would notice. $28.00 a pair. I would get these fad earring at Walmart and when over with next year I would know I didn't pay $28.00 a pair.

Stay with hosting. These earring are a joke.

God I hope Shawn K is not going to do earrings also. Her's are ridiculous

I agree with others, Walmart has earrings just like these. They are on the clearance rack now, and Walmart does real clearance prices. The last pair are too heavy. They are dragging your earlobes down. Go ahead, wear them. Then, come show us your earlobes in ten years. ROFL! Amy, you couldn't be any further away from a designer, just give up on that idea!
