QVC, Inc. (“Sponsor”) is sponsoring the QVC’s Beauty Night Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes"). This Sweepstakes is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. YOU MUST BE 18 YEARS OR OLDER TO ENTER. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

By entering this Sweepstakes, you as the entrant agree to abide by all terms of these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor whose decisions shall be final and binding.

ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the United States and District of Columbia, who are 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry. Employees and agents of Sponsor, and their parents, affiliates and subsidiaries, and immediate family members (parents, children, siblings and spouses) and household members of employees and agents are not eligible. To enter the Sweepstakes on your mobile device via the Facebook app, complete the following steps:

Step 1 – Access your Facebook account on your mobile device. If you do not have an Facebook account, you can download Facebook for free in the Apple App Store on an iOS device (iPhone, iPod, iPad), http://qvc.co/1E9omJ8, or in Google Play for an Android device, http://qvc.co/1E9oYOZ. After installing Facebook, open it on your device and tap the 'Sign up' button at the bottom left of the screen to begin the account creation process.

Step 2 – Search “QVC” on Facebook and click the “LIKE” button (assuming that you are not following QVC on Facebook already).

Step 3— Leave a comment with the hashtag, #Giveaway, in the comments section of the Beauty Night Facebook Sweepstakes Post from June 22, 2018.

To enter the Sweepstakes on your computer desktop or laptop via Facebook.com, complete the following steps:

Step 1 – Access your Facebook account on your computer desktop or laptop. If you do not have a Facebook account, you can create one for free. To create a Facebook account, go to www.facebook.com/r.php. Enter your name, email or mobile phone number, password, date of birth and gender. Click Sign Up. To finish creating your account, you'll need to confirm your email or mobile phone number.

Step 2 – Search “QVC” on Facebook and click the “LIKE” button (assuming that you are not following QVC on Facebook already).

Step 3— Leave a comment with the hashtag, #Giveaway in the comments section of the Beauty Night Sweepstakes Post from June 22, 2018.

To enter the Sweepstakes by mail, send your name, address, daytime telephone number and June 22 on a standard 4 inch by 6 inch postcard addressed to QVC’s Beauty Night Sweepstakes, Studio Park, Mail Code 150, West Chester, PA 19380 (“Mail Entry”).

By submitting a Facebook Entry or Mail Entry, you are signifying that you have read, understand and agree to these Official Rules.

Limit one entry per person. Any person who attempts to participate with entries in excess of these entry limitations will be disqualified. Tagged winner will need to consent to sweepstakes rules to accept the prize. Any other attempted form of Sweepstakes entry is void. Any person who attempts to participate under multiple identities or uses any device or artifice to enter in excess of this entry limitation will be disqualified; use of programmed, automated or like means of entry is prohibited. 2. ODDS OF WINNING: The number of eligible entries received will determine the odds of winning. All eligible entries carry an equal chance of winning.

3. WINNER NOTIFICATION: Sponsor or a representative of Sponsor shall contact Potential Winner via Facebook (Reply and/or Direct Message) or via telephone on or about Thursday, July 5, 2018. Potential Winner may be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility, liability release, and (where legal) an affidavit of publicity prior to receiving the prize. Potential Winner will have forty-eight hours from the time he/she is contacted to respond and accept the prize. Noncompliance with the time period described above will result in disqualification and an alternate winner selected. Potential Winner may be required to present proof of identification prior to claiming prize. Acceptance of any prize shall require acceptance of the terms of these Official Rules and shall grant Sponsor the right to use Winner’s first name, last name and city and state of residence for any publicity associated with this Sweepstakes.

4. SWEEPSTAKES DRAWING: A random drawing will be conducted by the Sponsor on or about Thursday, Jul 5, 2018. Sponsor may delay a drawing in its discretion.

PRIZES/APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (“ARV”): Listed below are the prizes that will be awarded in this Sweepstakes.

PRIZE: One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive a $100.00 QVC Gift Card

Total Approximate Retail Value of All Prizes: $100.00

If a Winner is unable or unwilling to accept the prize, he/she will be disqualified and the prize forfeited; in such event, an alternate Winner shall be selected from among all remaining eligible entries received. Prizes cannot be substituted or transferred by Winner. If a prize must be forfeited, Winner will not be able to exchange the prize for its cash value. Yay!!! My earrings have arrived. As you probably already know, I've been working behind the scenes to help create earrings for the Q! The first four have been created, just in time for summer, and I'm hoping you will love them.

They are all named after the actresses of Big Little Lies, as I was obsessed with that show.

The Reese - shown in green but we offer them in 5 other colors too!

The Nicole - had to have at least 1 with major BLING!

The Zoe - fun and funky!

And the Shailene - not loaded yet - but coming VERY SOON!

I think you'll easily see how I matched them all up. I'm sure I say Reese Witherspoon and you think fun. I say Nicole Kidman and you think elegant! I say Zoe Kravitz and you think original. Italian Inspiration

Bill and I had the ultimate gift of being hosted by our dear friends along the Amalfi Coast of Italy. Mario is native to the area and he and his wife Branka were so passionate about the places they would introduce us to. We spent time exploring Ischia, Capri, Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello, each with its unique charm and beauty. Needless to say, we were inspired by the places we visited, but also by the delightful people we are blessed to call our dear friends. Upon our return home, Bill and I immediately collaborated with our design team on these inspired collections, celebrating this amazing part of our world. We hope they take you away! A Vision To Feel Nourished

We’ve been on a journey this year to re-define the concept of glamour. Glamour often gets tied to one’s outward appearance, but it’s so much more! Glamour is about shining bright, from the inside, out. The most glamorous women I know and admire in the world are kind and compassionate, fun and filled with life, stylish and beautiful in their own right, purposeful in their thoughts and actions, and they live in a state of constant gratitude. These are women who give to others with all of their hearts, day in and day out.

Being this glamorous woman takes work! So, what’s her secret? What’s the magic to being truly glamorous?

She takes care of herself. She understands to really give to others, to her work and to the world around her — she has to feel her best. This doesn’t just mean she exercises and eats well (although that’s definitely a part of it)!

It means she feels… nourished.

I truly believe a large part of living a glamorous life is working day in and day out to fill your body, mind, and soul with the things that make you happy, that make you feel healthy, and the things that bring you back to feeling grounded in your values and morals so you can show up authentically in everything that you do. When you take care of yourself, you have bright eyes and a glamourous attitude. You feel good, you listen better, you look beautiful and you put out energy that attracts positive people to you.

This month, we’re excited to explore feeling nourished with all of you!

To kick off this theme, we wanted to invite you to create A Vision To Feel Nourished, as the act of creative expression is a large part of this theme! I did this fun, inspiring activity this weekend with a dear family friend, Shakuntala Zakheim, who is a force of love and creativity! I not only wanted to share my board with all of you to inspire you to create one of your own (and please share it back with me!), but I wanted to share our process with you, as the act of creating this board was truly a nourishing experience.

1. Take Time to Visualize.
In what ways do you feel most nourished? Where do you need more nourishment in your life? Feel free to free write on the topic, filling a paper with any words or thoughts that come to mind as you begin to bring into focus what nourishment is for you. To help you get started, we created a list of 54 ways to #feelnourished every day to spark inspiration.

I took some time to visualize how I feel most nourished before getting started on my board. First and foremost, quality time with my family brings me such joy, which is why I put them in the center (or the heart!) of my board. Surrounding my family, I feel most nourished when I am designing denim that helps you feel great in your skin and empowers you to step outside your comfort zone in your style — and in your life. 2. Get creative!
Find images, quotes, words — you name it — that inspire you! Find materials that excite you. Paints, pencils, poster board, fabric stickers, anything lying around the house is great to use.

For my board, I used a mix of quotes, inspiring images from magazine, beautiful illustrations, personal keepsakes and more. I also wanted to incorporate physical pieces of my denim, as this jean (and all of you who I’ve met through my denim line!) nourishes my soul.

3. Follow Your Intuition (and Have Fun!)

Part of feeling nourished is to express yourself in a way that feels true to who you are. Vision boards can come to life in so many ways, so we’re put together a Feel Nourished: Vision Board Collection in our Closed Facebook Heartfelt Community to give you more ideas! It’s great to get inspired by others, but it’s important to create something that feels true to you and is an expression of your creativity. Don’t forget to have fun, blast music to set the mood you want to create and involve your friends!

To express my style and creativity, I wanted to create a board with soft, inspiring colors that make me feel happy and calm at the same time, which is why I worked with a soft sky blue and hints of purple. I also wanted to keep the board a bit simple as opposed to a heavy collage with lots of detail, as simplicity more so reflects my personal aesthetic when it comes to my space and my style!

While many love this season for the beach, I love the warm weather and longer days for my garden...

I think the reason I love to garden goes back to my childhood. My Dad always grew lots of tomatoes, carrots and veggies in our backyard.

My garden has lots of veggies- squash, pumpkins, gourds, tomatoes, potatoes, 3 varieties of beans, sweet peppers, baby eggplants, lettuce, mint and lots of herbs.

I also love to plant flowers so I fell in love with purple calla lilies plus I am learning to plant perennials in my pots too...all of this rain has been hard on my sunflowers but my grape vines are thriving!

I would really love to see pictures of your flowers and gardens!!! I am always learning, so share your garden advice too!

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the amazing moms who are doing (have done/will do) the most important job!

I want to take a moment to thank all of the moms who helped shape me – starting of course, with my very own mama!

My mom, who most people think is my sister, has always been my biggest cheerleader. I wouldn’t be here today at QVC if she didn’t encourage me to dream, to work hard, and that I could do anything and be anything (with persistence and prayer backing me)! She helped me chase my dreams – whether I wanted to start a babysitters club in our backyard, or travel across the country for college. She was there by my side helping me.

I’m one of four children, so she sacrificed a lot for her kids and our family, and I’m forever grateful for her constant love and support.

It’s been so fun to watch her become a grandma to my two kids and her other grandson! I’m so thankful our kids have our glam-ma as we call her

I also have to thank my amazing mother – in – law for all she’s become to me and our family as well. She has become an incredible second mom to me and grandma to our kids. I’m beyond blessed for the relationship we’ve created!

I want to acknowledge the other moms – teachers, cheerleading coaches, Bible study leaders, who also shaped who I am spiritually, mentally and physically as well. To you, and you know who you are (ahem, Peg) I am thankful for you.

Now that I’m a mom to our 2 year old son and one year old daughter, I realize more than ever how hard my mom and all moms have worked to give their kids the very best in life.

As a working mama, I will always struggle with being enough at work and at home, but that’s what every mom struggles with – working or not – to be enough…to everyone who needs them. But we are enough. And to those who need us most, they don’t require much more than our LOVE! Boo boo kisses, good morning kisses and goodnight kisses – that’s what our kids need most from us.

I’m so thankful for these two cherub faces that I get to love on every day and I’m so thankful to God for allowing me to be their mom. The best job title I’ve ever been given!

5 Ways To Find Abundance Every Day

Recently, I took a Soul Cycle spin class with my favorite instructor, Angela Davis. I knew going in that the great workout I would get would be just one part of my experience. Every time I take her class, I leave with a shift in perspective, a deep feeling of gratitude for life, and a reset!

Before Angela teaches every class, she grounds herself in her faith and connects with her intuition to find an authentic message for her students. Every message seems to somehow connect with my life at that time, as if she came up with the theme especially for me! I am sure so many people feel this way. How powerful is that? The other week, her message was on abundance. She moved around the room speaking with conviction from her heart, “we must believe in ourselves,” she said. “We must believe in our abilities to understand that we have everything on the inside of us that we need to be.”

This message really struck a chord with me. Sometimes we can get caught up in what we are lacking in life, which is the opposite of abundance. We can get lost in the challenges or obstacles we are facing in our lives or in our work. We can easily get fixated on the things we want — but don’t yet have. While these things often monopolize our thoughts, there are so many things in our lives that actually deserve our attention, our time and our love.

Abundance is a mindset. It’s resting in the feeling of goodness about what you have right in front of you. You’re not missing anything, because you already have it all. It’s seeing the opportunities instead of obstacles. It’s focusing on the good. It’s being fueled by family, friends, and the simple things. It’s grounding ourselves in who we are and what truly matters, every chance we get.

Whenever the complications of life try to steal my peace or pull me out of a place of abundance, I remind myself of what’s most important and revisit a few practices I’ve found extremely powerful over the years, regardless of my situation. These five practices have become the tools that keep me grounded in all that I have and all that I am. I hope these practices can inspire and empower you to feel the abundance in your life, every day.

1. Practice Gratitude As A Way of Living
I truly believe the key to feeling abundance is to be so grateful and happy with what you have now. Even when I didn’t have much, I used to tell myself to want less. While I may have more now, I continually try to ground myself (and my kids!) by focusing on being happy with what we have and knowing we are enough. Gratitude is the bridge to abundance. This is something I have practiced my entire life and it continues to be a very real-time practice for me. I will often be in meetings, or in the kitchen eating with my kids, and I make a conscious effort to stop and simply be thankful for every one of these moments. It honestly fills me up to practice gratitude as a way of life!

2. Find Joy In Everything
I love being able to take care of myself through hard work and am blessed to do what I love now. This was not always the case! When I was going through challenging times, I would look to find happiness in almost everything that I did and it’s a practice I’ve kept until this day. In every aspect of my life, I try to practice being grateful, mindful and present in the moment. Our community, Heartfelt, is a newfound tool for me to find joy each day! I am especially moved when I see an amazing post in the group and when you reach out to me with such sincere and kind words. When I reflect on my life, I feel so lucky, abundant and filled with joy.

3. Be the Captain of Your Life
If I don’t feel in a place of abundance, I try to change my situation or change my perspective. If I am lacking family-time, I will clear my schedule to spend more time with my kids and my husband. Take charge of your life and happiness. If you don’t like something about your current circumstances, change it — right now. If you see yourself where you want to be in the end, I believe you will move towards that goal.

4. Show Happiness for Others
While we all face the pressures of social media, I try hard to not make comparisons. Abundance is infinite. There is enough for everyone. Wayne Dyer even says that abundance is an equal opportunity employer! I can be happy for the success of others because people deserve good fortune and this in no way diminishes what I have. Abundance is all around us – for all of us.

5. Express Generosity
Generosity is an attitude. In fact, the Dalai Lama said, “generosity is the most natural outward expression of an inner attitude of compassion and loving-kindness.” Being generous is a way of showing love and compassion to others and is one of the most powerful ways I feel abundance in my life. Regardless of what we have, we always have something to give. Whether it’s a smile, a kind word to someone in need, a donation or a seat in a waiting room — being generous with our words, thoughts and actions fills us up with abundance like nothing else.

Mother's Day Wisdom

When I was in college I was laser focused on getting a job in television. I did internships, worked at CNN over the summer, and graduated summa ****** laude. Everyone said “Oh Jane’s going to get hired right out of school!” And I waited, and waited and waited but nothing was happening.

I was applying for jobs all over the country. It didn’t matter how small, I knew I had to start at the bottom and work my way up and honestly was willing to do anything. I sent out audition tapes to so many stations, that I stopped counting at 70 rejection letters. Needless to say I was feeling pretty discouraged, and wondering if a career change was in order.

In order to make ends meet I was teaching fitness classes, but that was not enough. My Mom was working and needed help around the house. So I became her housekeeper! I cleaned, organized and even had an epic yard sale. Every week I would tackle a new project to help my Mom. This went on until December, and it was getting tough to hang in there when nothing was coming. But I kept applying, driving to job interviews, and with Mom’s help keeping the faith.

On Christmas morning my Mom and Dad and I were exchanging presents. My Mom collected Hummels and loved them because they reminded her of her children as babies and toddlers. She gave me my first Hummel, a little girl with a scrub brush called “Big Housekeeping.” She wrote me a beautiful note about how work is prayer, and every job counts, and my talent and determination would pull me through. She always told me to “run for the roses!”

Of course I shed happy tears over this precious gift.

It was a few months later that I finally got a “yes!” on a job interview. It was for a small station in New Jersey where we did a nightly news and several weekly shows. After that I headed to Rhode Island to be the host and producer of “Real to Reel” a Catholic TV show with affiliates all over the country. One year later I was back in Philadelphia hosting the same show in my home town on PHL-17. And then, there was an ad in the paper looking for hosts for a new network called QVC…and you know the rest!

Now that I am a Mom of daughters pursuing careers in the performing arts, I think back to the faith and conviction my Mom had for me. I know she worried that months were going by with no job prospects, but she never let me know. She was my cheerleader, my inspiration, my best friend. I tell my girls that God gave them talent and it is their responsibility to use what God gave them. My faith in them is as strong as my Mom’s was in me. Her legacy of support and strength lives on from generation to generation.

Become Love

I have appreciated this quote from the first moment I saw it:

How my mother became love is anyone’s guess. It must have been her destiny. I can’t say that her upbringing and most impressionable years encouraged a young woman to become love. I can’t say that it was her first marriage, or raising two kids by herself. I believe God made her the way she is. I believe she was meant to enrich the lives of everyone she meets: A blessing to our family, and her patients – for whom she cares just as deeply about!

My mom has the sweetest soul – always seeking to find the good. Her work ethic is unparalleled. She returned to school once I went away to college, and has been tireless about making the most of her second act. She’s sentimental and nostalgic. She misses Memaw, and wants to be for her own grandkids, the kind of role model my brother and I had. But the truth is, Memaw wasn’t all that affectionate. We knew she cared, but she wasn’t one to offer a hug and squeeze you like it was the last time she’d have the chance. That’s how I feel when Mom hugs me. That’s what I see when she wraps her arms around my nephews and niece. They don’t know yet just how incredible she is… how big her heart is. They’ll see it in time.

It’s always been easier for me to just say “Happy Mother’s Day! I love you, Mom!”

But on this Mother’s Day, I wanted to share publicly how much I appreciate you, Mom, and how I’ll never take for granted the sacrifices you’ve made to help me reach my full potential.

Mom told us countless times: “If you can read and follow directions, you can do anything in life.” Socioeconomically, there was a lot of daylight between our family and most others. I didn’t attend the most prestigious schools, or have connections to people who could open doors. Yet, I always felt empowered. Mom laid out a simple way to achieve my dreams. She also gave me permission to chase them. She’d say, “You can’t have roots and wings.” Making a serious run at a career in television would mean leaving our town of about 1,000 people. She could have asked me to stay and pursue a different path. She could have sprinkled in a bit of guilt along the way to nudge me to come home. Spending more time together would mean the world to us both. But she knew I needed to fly. She tells the story of how, when I was a little girl, I had an outburst... Out of nowhere, I exclaimed, “I’m gonna make something of myself someday!” She must’ve laughed inside at how serious I was about it, but the moment stuck – and I think that’s why she has lifted me up even when it wasn’t easy.

Mom, I love you unconditionally. I send that to you this Mother’s Day, along with the plants and Copper Chef pieces you asked for!
